Desventajas: I don't know why English hotels do stays without breakfast ! Look at how the Irish hotels do it. Adding breakfast at 30 pounds is a real turn off ! No buffet breakfast in the world could cost that to supply? Maybe look at this to be a little different.

Desventajas: i believe what would otherwise have been a good stay was marred by very poor quality in-room entertainment. it was a bit strange that a five star hotel did not have the premiership matches on offer as part of its entertainment package. and to make matters worse the 4ondemand entertainment could not play a single episode of a series picked without hanging and going off altogether. it was a truly poor experience and pretty embarrassing for the cost of the place. that is a truly thumbs down area...truly thumbs down!

Desventajas: La colección de zumos de fruta era muy limitada, las sábanas de la cama hacían que mi control remoto de alergia de la habitación estuviera muy sucio y cuando ordené uno nuevo no me dieron eso en el segundo alojamiento.

Desventajas: Varias cosas que deberían de ser cambiadas. No es un hotel de cinco estrellas. No se como tiene esa categoría. La habitación, totalmente decepcionante. Inmobiliario muy anticuado, la insonorización pésima. La tele no funcionaba correctamente, la moqueta tenia manchas ( que probablemente no se podían eliminar). La conexión de internet muy mala y lenta. La puerta del baño no se cerraba. Pienso que el hotel, en su día fue un muy buen hotel de cinco estrellas, pero ha día de hoy necesita un reforma de inmobiliario, no puedes pagar un hotel de cinco estrellas cuando hay de cuatro mejores que este.

Ventajas: The hotel is on the older side of Paddington Station, and has a rather easy-to-miss entrance, but from the moment you enter lobby, you feel comfort and coziness of the place and kindness of the hotel staff. The several interactions I had with different staff members, check-in/store luggage/breakfast/check out/getting my super heavy luggage down the lobby stairs, they are so pleasant and super helpful, all the process went very smoothly. The single room I had was on the small side (to the extent that if you have a large luggage like me you won’t be able to open the door when you have your luggage open), yet it had everything I needed for the stay, room nicely arranged and the bed was very comfortable. Wi-Fi worked fine and fast. 5min walk from Paddington station. Very good breakfast. Great service. For the price you pay I definitely think it is of great value.

Desventajas: El hotel son varias casas unidas (no es todo el edificio que aparece en las fotos ni mucho menos) Tienen muchas habitaciones en semisótanos, cuando fuimos a esa zona no olía bien.. lo intentan camuflar con ambientador. Nos tocó una de esas, nos quejamos y nos cambiaron a una en la primera planta. La habitación nueva, acabados sábanas y camas de buena calidad. La calefacción del cuarto de baño no funcionaba(en teoría suelo radiante) y la del cuarto (bomba de calor) iba cuando quería..Parece ser que lo controlan desde recepción (cuando nos quejamos mejoró un poco, pero la habitación igualmente fría, el mando fijo de regulación que hay en el cuarto no sirve para nada) El personal educado, pero a pesar de la buenas palabras la habitación nunca fue confortable porqué nunca llegó a calentarse. Estuvimos 4 noches. Restaurante desayuno..no probamos nada. CONCLUSIÓN: En términos generales el hotel dista muchísimo de un 5 estrellas o cualquier hotel de 215 libras noche.

Los museos de artes decorativas, ciencias naturales y el Albert Music Hall están a una manzana de distancia. Tienes Harrows a 15 minutos caminando y Kensington Garden a la espalda. Es una zona ideal, tranquila, bien comunicada. Desventajas: They announced a special menu for the 12/24 night. I booked with my family and for our surprise, it was nothing special, only the regular menu. Nobody inform in advance Twice, they only left small towels in our room. I went to concierge to complain. One of that they didn't bring big towels and we took a shouer and used the smalls. On day, in the morning, the fire alarm sound many times. Nobody take care to inform the guests that was a dust problem. We went down scared and then in the reception, they informed what was happening. Every day for breakfast, you need to be fast, of you want a eat a croissant. It took more than 20 minutes to replace it.

Desventajas: The meal service was not very good and the Manager, Nigel Chandler did not treat our party with respect. We were a meal short and by the time it came the chips were cold. He was unprofessional in his manner and did not apologise for the error, in fact he was laughing with the waitresses which left us feeling he had no personable skills at all.

Desventajas: El personal, con alguna contada excepción, no se caracteriza por su amabilidad. Cobrar 2,95 libras por un cepillo de dientes que se ofrece en cualquier hotel de su categoría de manera gratuita me parece sumamente excesivo. Mi habitación era mejor que en la que se alojo mi amigo, en la que el baño era ridículamente pequeño. Te ofrecen un descuento en el bar sin explicarte todas las limitaciones que tiene, por lo que es un gancho para consumir y luego no te dejan utilizarlo. Tardamos mucho en hacer el check in por un problema con las reservas de booking.

The room was quite as it sat at the back, overlooking the garden. Size was good. Beds were excellent. Bathroom was comfortable and had a decent bath. Staff are friendly and pleasant. Breakfast is very good. Nice atmosphere. Safe and clean location.

Only the Tv up stairs had cables, the tv down stairs had antena based channels. Sockets are purely located, so it's not possible to charge your phone and use it while you are in bed. and more....

Desventajas: Upon booking I had requested a shower chair because I can’t on stools as I have no body balance. They had said a chair would be provided so I believed everything was in order. When I arrived, apart from the fact that the room was moldy, the wallpapers were coming off and the wooden floor looked like it had been damaged by humidity, there was only a small, unstable stool in the shower. The water didn’t warm up so I had two lukewarm showers sitting on a stool that barely allowed me to clean myself decently.

Very rude, unnecessary and unprofessional. It made me feel very uncomfortable and I won’t be returning ONLY for that reason, everything else was wonderful until that happened, very disappointing.

Ventajas: Everything else was perfect so 5 stars and would def return. Loved the "my bill" facility on the TV, being able to check our running total. Beds amazingly comfy, staff very welcoming, and hotel was beautifully decorated for Christmas. Food was really lovely and the price considering the location and it was Xmas eve and Xmas night was really good. Thanks everyone and Happy New Year to all the staff.
Desventajas: only enough teabags and milk for one cup of tea and not enough sugar.... yes I know we could ask for more but would prefer not to have to! The Christmas dinner 2/3 course menu and Christmas buffet menu was confusing as we all had to go and serve ourselves so it was just a free for all. I think it should have been just one type (either all buffet and be cheaper or wait at table service for the set price)

Desventajas: Hostel doesn't have lockers only boxes. You need to have your own locker or buy it there. Good wi-fi connection only near reception or in the cafe downstairs. Usually hostels have some kitchen where you can prepare your own food,or at least microwave it 24/7, this hostel cafe(=kitchen) close at 11 p.m.

Ventajas: El día que me fui...
Desventajas: Falta limpieza en baños y habitaciones, me alojé por 8 noches y sólo limpiaron 2 veces la habitación de 22 camas. Los cestos de los baños rebalsan de papeles, teniendo en cuenta que la gente que se aloja ahí son unos maleducados y sucios, deberían poner más empeño en estos puntos. La zona es muy linda, pero la seguridad del lugar es pésima. La primera noche encontré a un indigente durmiendo en mi cama, hice el reclamo y ni siquiera me cambiaron las sábanas. Durante el día prácticamente cualquier persona puede acceder al hostel ya que el acceso por el parque es libre y muchas veces encontré las puertas que se abren con tarjeta entreabiertas. El wifi no llegaba a la habitación, hay que reconectarse constantemente ya que pierde señal. Las duchas son sólo 3 para un piso en el que si está lleno hay más de 40 personas, una vergüenza. Además funcionan con un botón que te da 20 segundos y luego se corta, muy muy incómodo. No pude guardar el equipaje luego del check out porque el deposito estaba lleno, tuve que usar un locker que cuesta 2 libras. El lugar es gigante, fuimos en temporada baja y ya no había lugar, acaso no preven este tipo de situaciones? En resumen un lugar con potencial pésimamente administrado, sin duda un sitio que no voy a volver a pisar.

Desventajas: Este albergue parece una convención de gente rara, perturbada y solitaria y el jardín huele a porros de forma permanente. No se puede dormir bien, la gente hace ruidos todo el rato, duerme por la tarde y se levanta de madrugada. Creo que teníamos un mendigo durmiendo en la litera de arriba. El personal de limpieza un poco desagradable, y entra a limpiar los baños por la mañana, que es cuando hay que usarlos. No repetiría ni aunque me hubiera picado una víbora y el albergue fuera el antídoto.

Desventajas: Cierran la recepción a las 10, te dejaban afuera. Es dificil de llegar, la entrada parece de película de terror. Limpieza malisima, solo limpian una vez al día y es un hostel muuuuy grande con demasiadas personas, los baños sucios, trancados.. el wifi no llega a las habitaciones y como la recepción la cierran debes quedarte pasando frío en el patio exterior... Malisimo no volvería ni recomiendo que se hospeden allí.

Greed of the Safestay Holland Park management - converted the TV lounge into another awkward room with more beds without number on them - noise from the outside and inside the reception area. Changed my bed several times - it seems the Safestay computer system doesn’t work properly - double booking in the same bed 3 times within a week during my stay. Not worth it.

Pero nos dieron una habitación en la parte trasera del hotel donde todos pasaban durante la noche, la gente caminando por nuestra habitación se reían a carcajadas. Ahora normalmente esto no me habría molestado pero teníamos una ventana que no se cerraba bien así que era bastante ruidosa. También un montón de puertas "molonas" en nuestra planta, la mayoría de la noche así que una noche en efecto muy ruidosa. Es una pena porque nos alojamos en este hotel antes y nos dieron una habitación fantástica pero esta vez no fue la mejor.

Ventajas: Staff seemed nice. Location was great close to Hyde Park. Area is well served with good bus links and tube service. There are plenty of places nearby to grab a coffee or some food.
Desventajas: Hotel wasn't 4 star. Whilst it's a lovely building outside, it's a bit dated inside and there are signs of wear and tear around. Our room was very small and I think it was a bit misleading to call it a 'superior double'. There were loose floor tiles in the bathroom and also signs of damage in the bathtub. We also an issue before we arrived that the hotel called to advise us of a boiler issue and tried to send us to an alternative sister hotel which I was not happy about.

Noise all night from some air con or vent fans outside. lastly ,rather dated décor in room. all typical hotel failures.

Desventajas: La relacion calidad-precio: Esta claro que las habitaciones podrian considerarse standars en otra epoca, pero el precio no es acorde con la actual. Se podria aceptar el precio si al menos incluyeran el desayuno, pero es que ni una botella de agua dejaron en la habitacion. Ademas, te obligan a comprar adaptadores para los equipos electronicos, cuando podrian al menos tener el detalle de prestarlos. El friforico de la habitacion no funcionaba o no estaba encendido cuando llegamos.

Desventajas: Por poner un pero, cuando llegamos nos dieron una habitación en el sótano, sin ventanas y super pequeña la cuál no era la que yo había pagado, menos mal que se solucionó rápido y sin ningún problema. Otra cosa que no me gusto fue que el personal de limpieza entraba muy tarde hacer el servicio.

We were told to email a complaint which we did and we never heard back. We paid £250 for a room for 3 of us for a weekend in London. We would never stay there again. Appallingly over priced and unhealthy.

Desventajas: customer service. although we were transferred to another room, we have t wait till 3pm for another room. requested and paid for late checkout at 2pm. however the lady housekeeper kept knocking our door at 12.30pm and 1.30pm to kick us out. what am i paying extra for anyway. all in all, i am actually glad staying here due to the room is bigger than i had in another hotels before.

The bed reminded me of those train beds - narrow with PVC-coated mattres and low railings digging into your legs while sleeping (and I'm a short slim girl, btw!!!) Desventajas: The first thing I arrived was doubting am I in the right place, coz the name of the hostel in front is not the same. And a gang of teens were hanging outside the front made me the first impression that I booked a bad place to stay. This is my worst hostel experience ever! When I checked in was the evening, staff’s attitude wasn’t good. The room was tiny, after we put our suitcases in the room, basically no space to walk through each other. I saw the photos when I booked was 2 level bunk beds. But when I got my room, it’s 3-level bunks. I have checked in 2 different rooms, both of them are the same tiny and 3-level bunks. Leaving you no headroom, even to sit in your bed space. The bathroom is lacking facilities, not enough hooks to put our towels and clothes, no benchtop space to put my toiletries. The taps!!!! One room is the push and automatic turn off tap, water only runs for 2 seconds and off, making you have to press every so often with one hand, leaving only one other hand free to catch the water to wash your face. The second room I got, the tap only had cold water, the hot side was broken, and the drainage of the sink is blocked. You have to wait until the water to drain away before you turn the tap on again to clean your teeth or something, it’s extremely blocked! And the heater in the second room I checked in was broken, I asked the staff to turn it on for me he didn’t even try, or provide me another portable heater, was freezing cold in the room during sleep. Last but not least, I wanted to wash my clothes and I have to pay £5, the first day I asked they said the machine was broken, will be fixed the next day. 2 days later I asked again, still not fixed, and asked me can use their sister hostel to wash my clothes which was 3 blocks away!!! I end up didn’t wash them there. It’s the worst hostel I ever stayed in my entire life!!! Do not stay with them!

They let a young man who has neither experience in hotel/hostel industry nor speaks English do the night shift alone, and the day shift staff just kicks all the troubles to this poor young man. 2. They don't care who stays in this hostel. There is a notice on the reception desk saying "any anti-social behaviour will be asked out." but they don't care. There was a lady who had a fight with every single one in the female dorm and have anti-social behaviour in terms of suddenly singing a song and speaking to herself loudly, banging the door and iron drawer, spraying and brushing the toilet, turning on the fan in the deep winter with no heating in the room in 2 or 3 AM. Yes, she did all these in the mid of the night and early morning when everyone was sleeping and then had a sudden wake and shock. She verbally abused everyone for no reason. Several girls would rather change to a mix dorm than stay in there. After she constantly did this for a few days, a group of us went to the reception to report this. We spoke to four different staffs at different time, but none of them solved this problem. We ended up stayed in the same room with this lady listening to her verbal abuse and under threatening because we reported her in terms of "you called me ugly and a bitch" "you are racist and you lie because you hate me” "your Australian ancestors killed a lot of aborigines" "You are full of lesbian and trans" “that’s why I never talk to white people” etc. The night shift staff spoke to the lady and had a hard time with the lady, but he has no right nor experience with this issue. The next morning, when we again spoke to the manager, the manager said "I spoke to her, and she was nice and polite. "

Been charged extra for luggages as only 1 is allowed in room and they did not mention upfront so going to report them of overcharging as it is ripping customers off. If you go to room 85 on first floor there is a tall mixed race guy living long time there and is mentally challenged.

I washed my cloths quite late in the laundry and decided not to use the dryer for another hour, so I brought everything wet in my room. The next day, while I was still in the room, the cleaner came and took a photo without my permission and even without my notice. Another girl in the room reminded me and I politely asked the cleaner please deleted the photo because it was not legal to take a photo with me and the other girl and my belongings in it. She at first pretended not hear and showering the toilet cabin, then we had to raise our voice to ask again. She then accused us by shouting to her. We said we could come to the manager and explain with her. She said "no, I am cleaning." We then said we can wait for the manager to come up if she could call the manager, she said "no, I'm too busy." She said she couldn't delete the photo because she had already SENT IT TO THE WHOLE COMPANY GROUP! Then we said we would have to complain this because this is against our legal right, the cleaner said "yesterday you complain about another person, now you want to complain about me?” “I’ve been working here for 3 years, and you are the only one make trouble!" We were shocked, we were clearly victims of some anti-social behaviour and kept being abused with clear evidence and witnesses of the staffs and other customers and she shifted the blame to us just because we reported this? So in this hostel, the one who abuses and threatens other people are "nice and polite", the victims are evil and trouble-makers? The manager finally came and said they have the right to have a photo of THEIR BED. Yes you have right to take a photo with your bed but not with two other person who PAID THE RENT and their personal belongings in it ?! He said ionicly "You have to use the dryer downstairs. If you don't have money to tumble dry your cloths... Did you wash your cloths in the sink?

Desventajas: El hotel Queens Park es simplemente el peor hotel en el que he estado. Cuando me registré, me asignaron una habitación entre dos plantas, donde apenas podía meter mi equipaje de mano y una bolsa grande. Después de una queja, me dieron una habitación un poco más grande. Sin embargo, todo en la habitación era viejo, era stinky e incómodo. Además, no tenía AIRE ACONDICIONADO, lo que era necesario. Cuando quería comprar el servicio wifi, me dijeron que no funcionaba.
Nunca recomendaría el hotel Queens Park a nadie.

Desventajas: We unfortunately did not receive rooms to the standard that we had booked. We had booked a double and triple room. The triple room was to have 3 single beds. We ended up with a double and single. The single bed in our triple room kept moving around the floor. There wasn’t enough room to physically have 3 bags in the room. We requested a move on our second day and were told it would be able to be done the next day. I reinforced a number of times that it meant both rooms moving as we needed to be near our 3 children. On the day of the change only our children were moved. I explained again that we needed to move together and was told that the manager had over booked and given the rooms put aside for us to someone else. We were then unable to move. There were a couple of staff who did their best to help us but they are trying to fix problems that are far beyond them. I understand that it is a base level hotel but it could be done so much better.

Desventajas: La habitación que nos dieron al llegar era lo más parecido a un zulo. El tamaño de la habitación era el tamaño de la cama con un colchón HORRIBLE. Pedimos cambio de habitación y nos dieron otra igual de mala. Tras mucho quejarnos nos ofrecieron una en la 5 planta algo más cómoda. No volvemos a repetir, queríamos un hotel donde poder descansar bien y como no te toque una habitación en la 4 o 5 planta, el resto son horribles, ademas de que se nota la diferencia también en moqueta y suelo, ya que las habitaciones del resto de plantas tienen todo el suelo desnivelado, moqueta sucia y estropeada. El desayuno pobre y escaso. No recomiendo nada la estancia aquí.

Desventajas: La habitación que al principio nos dieron no tenía conexión a internet y estaba cubierta de moho negro. Llegamos tarde por la noche y no había ningún gerente encargado de ayudarnos hasta la mañana siguiente los pasillos y las alfombras están sucios, pero una vez que nos trasladaron la segunda habitación no estaba mal.

Desventajas: Staff put us in small rooms we have three children and they choose the small rooms for us. One of our rooms the lock was broken and eventually after deciding to leave they then upgraded the rooms for us. This was unnecessary and could have been avoided.

Ventajas: Location was fantastic area well served with public transport and plenty of places to eat and drink nearby. Very clean and comfortable.
Desventajas: Room was a bit small, but it was fine for a one night stay.

Ventajas: Los trabajadores muy amables todos españoles, la habitación muy básica y el dayuno regular tirando a mal . La ubicación muy buena . El check in es a las 14:00 aunque en la página pone antes y el check out a las 12 .
Desventajas: Olía muy mal donde se desayuna y el baño de la habitación, y la ducha un horror o te quemas o te congelas y muy poca presión

Ventajas:
Desventajas: Hotel was under refurbishment, wires could be seen hanging from the walls,. Walls were left unfinished and not painted. Furthermore, work tools were left on the floor as well as new furnishing such as pillows and duvets.

Desventajas: We were told breakfast was included during our stay hence why we booked to save money and time. However we went down at 9:30 to see that a group of people where complaining there wasn't breakfast provided. Therefore it was highly disappointing and had to pay for breakfast elsewhere which is an inconvenience. We also didn't have enough towels which should be provided on our stay.

Desventajas: Sunday Hotel in Works. Smell to wet Paint. Reception in Works , not comfortable. The heat did not work in our bedroom. Monday Breakfast room in twilight, no coffee spoons, only soup spoons , Room full of holes in the ceiling and walls. At night about 4:30 a.m. fire Alarm sounded for 30 min. or more. No smoke. No burning smell. No power in the room nor the rooms of that side of 4th floor, panic some people get out of their rooms. Finally one employee arrived , not solving the issue until another one arrived switched off the alarm and returned the electrical power. Still no heat in the room. Tuesday. the breakfast was served? in reception without coffee nor milk. With workers moving debris beside the food., no hygienic. We did not have breakfast there and we went out to have breakfast in a "Pret a Manger" During check-out no apologies about anything.

Desventajas: Llegamos al “Hotel” sobre las 16:00 horas y nos indican que todavía no podemos acceder a la habitación, dado que, están de reformas y no había luz, por lo que como muy pronto la habitación estaría lista sobre las 18:00 horas. Lo mínimo que podrían haber hecho era disculparse por las molestias ocasionadas pero en vez de ello empezaron a vacilarnos diciendo que si no realizaban la instalación íbamos a tener que pasar la noche con velas. En cuanto a las instalaciones del hotel, desastrosas, la puerta principal que es de vidrio estaba rota, habían herramientas por todas los pasillos y estaba lleno de polvo. La habitación del hotel estaba muy muy sucia, las paredes manchadas, había telas de araña y el baño daba grima, tenía una cortina de ducha la cual estaba llena de cal y de manchas, en fin una higiene pésima. La cama era muy incómoda, se notaban todos los muelles y el grosor de las almohadas era equivalente al de una hoja. El desayuno pésimo, croissanes duros, pan, mantequilla y mermelada... el café y el zumo malísimo. Respecto al Check-out, supuestamente era a las 11:00 horas pero a las 10:00 horas ya nos estaban abriendo la habitación, encima de entregarnos la habitación tarde, ya nos estaban metiendo presión para que abandonemos el hotel antes de hora. Y por último, después de todo lo sucedido no se dignaron a guardarnos las maletas, nos pedían 2 libras por maleta (llevábamos 4), obviamente no las hemos dejado. Por suerte sólo estuvimos una noche, si no nos hubiésemos cambiado de “hotel”, si es que se le puede llamar así.

Desventajas: The breakfast room is at the basement ( -2) and out of the window there’s garbages everywhere ...nice view that you have for early morning! Also breakfast was so poor! The room was something between cabin ship and hospital’s room. Not at all value for money !! The whole place wasn’t clean.

Desventajas: Very little information on our stay, rude staff didn’t seem like they had worked in hospitality at all, construction going on throughout the day and night keeping us awake, lift not working so had to take stairs with all luggage, no towels or hairdryer in rooms, found hairs and a screw in the bed sheets, dodgy room key that kept playing up, overall a poor stay, quite clearly not ready to be opened to the public yet as still a building site. The staffs attitude however was the poorest part of our stay.
