In the new seat, the entertainment system worked, but the seat didn't recline, and I had to change seats again - from an initially allotted aisle seat, to a middle seat. Also, the food service time was weird - we got a full lunch about an hour before we landed, which didn't make sense, and had to wait almost 5 - 6 hours between brunch and our next meal - a movie snack. Most passengers were famished by the time the lunch was served. Also, why was there no wifi?"

Seats are comfy and spacious, much wider than Emirates in the same class (who offer only an extra 1/2 inch width over economy). Amenity kit a quality piece that is both practical and useful."

Desventajas: "Unfortunately, the plane was late, prompting me to miss my connecting flight. These things happen, I understand, but most upsetting was the fact that Qatar Airways provided very little information to those of us missing our flights. While on the plane, when those of us with short layovers mentioned that we may be late, we were told "you'll be fine - they hold the planes for a bit." When we deboarded the plane from New York, we ere wrangled into groups depending on our destinations. Many of us assumed that we were going to be taken to our next flights as we had been told they would be waiting for us. The airline rep in charge of my group refused to tell us any information, however, only admitting after we got confrontational with her that we had missed our flights. She then offered no information about what would happen to us, telling us we'd find out when we got to the rebooking counter. Very unprofessional. I was told that I would have to wait for another 24 hours for the next flight, necessitating that I would spend the night in Qatar. I was put up in a hotel that was decent, but again that offered very little in terms of customer service. We were given an $80 meal allowance, but despite me not using it, I was nickeled and dimed in other aspects to where I ended up paying $20 to help reschedule a flight that I had missed in my destination country. The whole ordeal was a nightmare and mostly due to poor communication and very cold, almost robotic interactions with the QA staff on the ground in Doha."

Shortly before we landed at Manila, we were informed that in order to meet international flight rules and regulations that insecticide will be sprayed we were advised to cover our nose,as a medical personnel I see it not good cos it can trigger an Asthmatic attack in a known asthmatic patient ,it was a lovely journey"

Desventajas: "I slashed my finger fairly painfully on a toilet door while pushing it from the outside to open it on the Dubai to Cape Town flight [again, an upgrade on my home flight which is a bucket list dream would more than make up for that!] which i pointed out to a flight attendant and they took note of it and bandaged me up so it was dealt with well but hopefully that gets sorted out [she said she would write a report] cos it did unfortunately affect the rest of my flight a little... And so many crying babies [thankful for volume control on headphones] but literally that was it - love flying Emirates cos on the whole felt super well treated..."

Desventajas: "Checkin at SVO terminal D is total disaster. Understaffed counters, hours long lines, lack of instructions and assistance. On oversees flight 4 out of 6 lavatories were out of service. Cabin crew were in such hurry that they missed our row couple times. They served water only 4 times for 10 hours flight and refused to give a whole bottle for some bogus security concern."

Desventajas: "Había pagado 100 dólares por exceso de equipaje. Al llegar a Madrid una de nuestras maletas resulto extraviada. Al pedir su recuperación nos informaron que el extravío se debió a que habían embarcado en nuestro vuelo 70 maletas de un vuelo anterior y de resultas se habían quedado 37 en Moscú porque no quedaba espacio en nuestro avión. Una mala gestión que garantiza decenas de extravíos indebidos."

Desventajas: "Without an explanation or apology given my partner and I had to seat far from each other. We were just told that the plane was full and no effort was made to simply apologise or reciprocate..."

Desventajas: "Agents at check-in desk took longer time to process passengers, even though some desks had two people helping. The web check-in line moved slower than the line with passengers who had not done online check-in. When I booked my flight via kayak, I was not given an option to select seats (this was new) . I was able to indicate my seat preference but there was no followup. When I checked in online 24 hours before my flight, the only option for seats was in the middle, which I did not want, although I I knew the flight would not be full. I was able to change seats when I checked in with the agent in the airport ."

Desventajas: "If a flight was delayed you should arrange something to enhance the security check procedure for the passengers of connecting flight. Qatar airways had done that for the passengers."

Ventajas: "Muy amable el personal, asientos cómodos (además viajé en un vuelo casi vacío con lo cual pude disfrutar de mayor comodidad). La comida estaba riquísima y bien presentada. El vuelo, si bien salió 10minutos demorado, llegó antes de lo previsto."
Desventajas: "Me obligaron a despachar un carry on, por tener 1kg de exceso de peso. La salida fue vía autobús con un trayecto bastante prolongado y con espera"

Desventajas: "Boarding was chaotic. There was another Virgin flight leaving Launceston at the same time so the lounge was very busy. Our flight was late while the other was on time and there were no announcements that our flight was delayed. The screen over the gate also did not show our flight details at any stage, even when it eventually boarded.. I'm familiar with Launceston airport so it was okay, but for someone not familiar, especially an international visitor, it would have been confusing as to which flight was which especially as no announcement or visual display was given that our flight was running late."

Desventajas: "The baggage check-in India, I requested for fragile since I had glass stuff in my luggage but that was not done. The air hostess in the flight from hyd to Abu Dhabi mentioned me that I had to make specific preference for veg meal which I haven’t done for my flight to India neither before."

Desventajas: "They don’t treat the passengers with respect. They treat us as if they are doing us a favor by flying us to our destination."

Desventajas: "I asked for dental kit but they did not give me any."

Ventajas: "The staff were kind, professional, attentive, and each person brought a warm elegance to their interactions with patrons. My seat ate who was a stranger to me got messily sick and the attendant was gracious and helpful to her. Also the meal from Abu Dhabi to Bengaluru was the most delicious I've ever had on any flight, which includes some international first class travel."
Desventajas: "I have long thighs so my knees butted against the seat in front of me."

Ventajas: "Didn’t like anything. Only thing decent was the boarding."
Desventajas: "Crew members did not care about anything, unorganized. actually tripped and fell into the aisle hit my shoulder on the arm rest of another passenger’s seat because of a crew members luggage was in the middle of the aisle and it was dark. Food was terrible. The in flight entertainment was lacking entertainment. Crew members told us we needed to hold our carry on’s, on our lap then to store it under the seat because other people have bigger bags. Even though I got to the seat first and was trying to get settled in. Crew members were eating and on their cellphones in the back the majority of the time. It was hard to get a cup of water. Flew from Chicago O’hare to Abu Dhabi."

Desventajas: "Ground staff is so inefficient and checkin process at JFK and boarding at AUH is abysmal. Ground staff at JFK have no regard for time and on time departure. Seriously lacking in entertainment options inflight and food is mediocre. Etihad is seriously lagging other competitors from same region like Enirates. This would effect my choice airline for my future travels."

Desventajas: "vv disappointing and frustrating at Ahmedabad airport while checking in . i was carrying the same hand bag that i had carried on my trip to india ,so how did that same hand bag cause a problem while coming back .they gave me very hard time regarding that bag .please look into the matter they forced me to break the wheels of my bag so it fits in that stupid cage . otherwise they were insisting that i buy a bag from the airport which i think is illegal"

Desventajas: "I had one piece of checkin baggage. surprise surprise it was misplaced and finally delivered to my house, 10 hours after my arrival to the destination"

Desventajas: "Food was horrible. First of all, we didn't get what we had requested. On top of it, whatever they had provided was substandard. Especially whatever they had given as sandwich."

Desventajas: "The airline lost my luggage and the claim process is vague. I was told I will be contacted with my claims number at the airport. Thus far I haven't heard anything from the airline. The number given goes straight to voice mail."

Desventajas: "bags did not make it to final destination and were stuck in abu dhabi. we landed on sunday and did not get our bags until tuesday. we had a very long layover so unclear as to why our bags did not make it on to the flight. it was a big inconvenience"

Ventajas: "I always enjoyed etihad flights except this time that I regretted booking the flight through kayak. The second leg of the flight was on Pakistan International Airlines from Abu Dhabi to Islamabad that I didn't notice. Very dangerous airline. I think the sight should clearly warn u that the other segment of flight is on other line when u check flights. Because the flight detail showed only Etihad airways all the way to Islamabad"

Desventajas: "On the flight to and from Abu Dhabi from DC, both planes had a mechanical problem with the toilet seats. The seats would not stay up, so they would come crashing down onto your spine as you were seated, which was painful. The only way to avoid this was to hold it back as you sat, which required you to twist around. This whole experience was uncomfortable and unsanitary. On the Abu Dhabi to DC flight, the toilet was self-flushing, as well. Except that it also malfunctioned and flushed every time before I stood up. This was an unnerving experience."

Desventajas: "Plane was not maintained at a comfortable temperature. It was just downright hot! But that was our experience with all our Etihad flights. Planes are not maintained at comfortable temperatures. Food was awful - boiled chicken taste While handing out sandwiches and drinks stewardess just gave my husband whatever I asked for without checking with him. Many times he was overlooked by the stewardesses on either side as he was in a middle seat. I did not see a single onboard crew crack a smile, robotic service. Not impressed with my first Etihad experience."

Desventajas: "Flight attendant could have cared less about being there. lol"
