he had no choice but to look at the closed door of his flight, and wait an additional 7 hours and they didn't even give him a voucher for food. I'm his mother, I'm currently visiting family in Scotland, so couldn't help him much. I'm pretty disgusting and disappointed by the whole experience.
Flew KLM 27 years ago and the airlines seem to be stuck in the same era. Food is poor quality... Have you recently checked the Gulf carriers.
Sandwich was incredibly tasty (although not much filling)
2 hours on the tarmac delayed with no explanation. Uncomfortable seats, no leg room. Poor management of seating, there was enough empty seats to have groups together but they were split up. Drinks served from a communal bottle in a polystyrene cup.

Ground crew at CDG was helpful to file a claim for the lost luggage.
Ground crew at MXP Was inexperienced. She called every one in my flight to form a new line and it was immediately total chaos. And then they lost one of our luggages!
Very helpful cabin crew and did well to communicate in English to me. Flight was on time and landed ahead of schedule
Entertainment system had to be rebooted as it did not work Small screen handset was not working for the entire flight food selection was not as big as KLM or China Eastern Bathroom on board was smaller than KLM or China Eastern which meant changing into more comfortable clothing for the night flight

My pregnant wife was downgraded from business to economy 20 minutes before departure because the airline made a mistake with the reservation for our puppy traveling in the cabin with us. If this were not enough, the airline also lost one of our bags so this week we have to file for compensation for both begin downgraded and for the contents of our 30 kilo bag which never made it to Ho Chi Minh. Air France was a complete and total disaster and I would strongly recommend all friends and colleagues to find alternative airlines for travel
Cabin crew were excellent Business class seating quite roomy
Food was ok but not to the standards of Qantas / Emirates or Etihad The cabin seating etc, looked a little tired & dated & the seats mechanical operation was clunky. Toiletries bag provided was quite limited, but was fit for purpose.
In-flight entertainment is very good with a good selection of movies and TV shows.
Flight was first delayed 1 hour then jumped to 3 more hours. Gate was constantly changing so we relaxed at a nearby gate. Never heard a boarding call. Then there's a security check right before you get on the plane so we have to throw away bottles of water that were bought in the terminal after passing initial security. Ridiculous!! How are we to keep hydrated on a 10 hour flight without being able to bring water on the plane?? The flight attendants should, at least, come around with cups of water. Service on LAN was excellent 10 years ago but has deteriorated when it changed to LATAM.
The plane itself was awesome!
The customer service I received on the plane however was probably the worst service I've ever had and I fly a lot. From a stewardess giving me grief for requesting coke and crackers to the overall customer experience was very much lacking!
Me cambiaron 3 veces los asientos. Elmvielo se atrasó casi dos horas.

It was a great airline! I flew economy but still was very comfortable.
I didn't have a long enough layover in Chicago and ended up missing my next flight. At least an hour and a half should be allotted going through customs in O'Hare. Then an additional 2 hours to recheck bags and get across the airport. This also allows extra time for delays.
I didn’t like that I paid for premium eco omg and the airline changed planes and switched all our seats to coach and oversold the flight without eva n an alert or option to keep our original seats. Never again!!!
