Ventajas: "The crew were helpful and efficient - it was a short flight so they had very little time to prepare the meal, distribute the meal and prepare the aircraft for landing - but they did."
Desventajas: "The English announcements by the cabin crew (not the pre-recorded announcements) were difficult to understand at times due to the accent."
Ventajas: "A quick, quiet and relaxing flight - no stress at all. The flight was uneventful. My carry on bag had to be stored in the bottom of the aircraft as the overhead lockers in the aircraft are small. As such - just before you board the aircraft, you place your carryon bag at the bottom of the steps and then when you get off at your destination, you collect your carry on bag at the bottom of the steps - no time wasted and worked easily."
Desventajas: "The English announcements were a little hard to hear/understand as the flight attendant read it so fast - but then again - it was a short flight - so every second counts :-)"

Followed by two hours of Iberia staff being surly, not looking me in they eye and doing absolutely nothing about getting me home. I have now been travelling for nearly 30 hours without sleep, am stuck in Madrid with no certainty of when or how I will get home or see my luggage again, and am seriously seriously pissed off. I do accept that things can sometimes go wrong and that it is nobody’s fault. This is definitely somebody’s fault."

Eventually I found a desk at a different location that would take my bag. Boarding was chaotic, no lines, just a crowd blocking access. Even passengers with small children couldn't get through. Space between seats was minimal. Crew was ordering passengers to take headphones off during security demo. I understand it is important to be attentive, but ultimately you shouldn't be forced to."

Flight was on time and didn't do anything scary. I was lucky as my neighbour found another free seat so left me with more room."
Desventajas: "I've found Iberia to be uncaring. This flight was much the same. The food and drink service was cheap, and I felt the attendants didn't feel like they had to try to give good service. The new entertainment screens kept coming on, and I kept turning them off as I wished to sleep. Eventually I discovered they were being triggered by the electrostatic charge on the pillows that I was rearranging."

When I went back to the check in counter, I asked why, no answer from three people at the check in standing around. Again, indifferent attitude. Shouldn't AE inform customers of this time wasting problem? No self check in kiosks."
Desventajas: "Website not working. I had to call and was sent a PDF boarding pass without a barcode. I ended queuing at the checkin counters again."
Desventajas: "The flight coming in was delayed so we were too late to make our connection - although we were told repeatedly that we would make it and that our connection to NY would be held for us. We ran for catch our flight only to find out that it had already taken off. No one we spoke to in Madrid was helpful (in fact, they were rather dismissive) until we finally spoke to a rep at customer service who provided us with our new flight (the next day with another airline) and our hotel arrangements"

We missed our connecting flight and we’re rerouted 4 hours later. We’ve missed our boat to Venice and all we received was an 8 euro lunch voucher."

And the terminal where the connection was was 25 minutes away -- and this doesn't include time for immigration at Madrid. I had to run all the way, break the queue, and made it though they had shut the gate and had to re-open it. The connections are poorly timed."

When I called customer service Iberia Airlines rejected any refund and I ended up spending three extra hotels nights and Flights on Air Europa. My total out of losses were nearly $1,500 USD"

Desventajas: "The flight was overbooked and I was in standby along with other two passengers. The very rude lady at the boarding gate told us that the flight was full and that we could only board if there were any passengers not showing up. She assured us this was very unlikely to happen and that we will probably have to be allocated in another flight. I was lucky enough to be able to board the plane because there was a guy that was not going to fly with his wife. I was the last one admitted, and therefore the last boarding passenger. I could not believe my eyes when I got on the plane and saw SIX empty seats in business class!!!!! Just so you know, these people sell more tickets than the number of available seats they have in economy class and they rather to leave their overbooked passengers on the ground than to put them (or anybody else) in business class seats. Let alone that the leg room in economy class is ridiculous even for average sized people and I was really uncomfortable. But this is not the end of the story. They lost my suitcase, and at this moment, seven hours after I landed, they do not know where it is and they cannot give me any more information. I will from now on avoid this company as much as I can and I would suggest everybody does the same."

Air conditioning didnt work well. Crazy small seats, no padding in seats. It was a tough flight."

Ventajas: "In general, I have always had great flights when using Iberia; the MAD >NAP flight segments included."
Desventajas: "Iberia Express uses smaller, Airbus320s and certainly packs passengers in! I'm 6'5"/191cm, and the flight between MAD to NAP almost 3 hours. That's a long time to sit with knees wedged into the unpadded seat in front of you. Window seats have even less room than aisle seats. It also makes things worse when passenger in front wants to fully recline their seat, passenger next to you wants to sprawl out - very claustrophobic! Also, there are no freebies on this flight charging for even a cup of coffee or glass of water!"

Would never fly or recommend Norwegian Air ever again."
Desventajas: "A mechanical malfuntion caused our takeoff to be over 2 3/4 hours late. I had a scheduled 4 hour layover which wasn't enough and missed my USA connection. Had to pay another $2500 x 2 for return flight to make a wedding Same happened on arrival. 2hr delay Going back in 2 weeks. Trying Europa Air"

Desventajas: "At 6 ft, I only had enough leg room when I moved to a seat which had a spare seat next to it, allowing me to swing my legs. Otherwise, even when sat quite upright my knees would've been against the seat."

Ventajas: "First cancelled the 10:00 am flight while everybody already onboard. Then boarded us again on the same airplane two hours and 50 min later. Right in time before the 3h necessary for passengers to file a claim."

Desventajas: "Missing suitcase and then nobody available at the missing luggage desk for some time. Had to hunt around for someone to help us. Eventually when found they were helpful and have a useful online system for getting updates. Case not found at time of writing review but sounds hopeful."

Today I hear my saturday late flight has been re-scheduled for tomorrow - with no intervening email saying the saturday re-scheduled flight was re-scheduled itself....if you get me. On a good note, it looks like I'm going to get a full refund. If they had arranged for me and my son to get there by another means - business class?, another airline?? - then I'd be impressed"

Coach from plane to terminal twice overfull and nowhere to sit with 2 year old child with slippery and wet floors. Lack of seating room uncomfortable journey. Vastly overpriced food and drinks on plane, not priced in £s so unable to pay."

Desventajas: "Whole. Families split up , inc young children, one group of ten spread all round the plan. Just two of us me row 27 better half row 8 ! Only Jet 2 do this too to punish you for not paying to sit together."

Desventajas: "Plane was filthy, covered in rubbish, crisps, dirty seats. There were no drinks left to buy as it was the last flight of the day, no milk for tea which wasn't good."

Desventajas: "Service from ground staff in Palma Being charged twice for our bags. Paid £200 for 2 bags instead of £100. Will never fly Ryan air again."
Desventajas: "20 minutes notice of an 8 hour delay. Zero communication, treated like cattle by ground staff, given a €5 food voucher after literally chasing staff around other boarding gates. €5 is not “reasonable” food expense for this length of delay under EU261. Then sent a reminder to claim from insurance company. No Ryanair - we will be claiming full amount from you, and encouraged other travellers to do the same. Utter amateurs and fraudsters."

Desventajas: "The airline app did not enable us to download our boarding passes as non-EU citizens and the check-in desk refused to issue paper boarding passes. We had to wait to the last minute at the gate for the agent to write up a boarding pass by hand. Ridiculous."
Ventajas: "Clean and efficient with good staff."
Desventajas: "Why do I have to sit with other people whom have been purposely separated from their wives family & friends ? I know the answer because Ryanair have now adopted the Jet2’s system of ensuring although you book together you definitely won’t seat together! ( Unless you pay the premium to sit side by side as 99% of the worlds airlines do as a matter of course!)."
Ventajas: "Passengers and crew were nice. The basic price is ok, but many people buy "extras" like "privileged" boarding, and seats next to friends/relatives, so not so cheap overall."
Desventajas: "I don't understand Ryanair policy on random seat assignment. It delays boarding while passengers negotiate on swapping seats. I guess it's just a cynical ploy to extract more money, like the privileged boarding scam. In Palma, the departure board went from Delayed to Boarding without any announcements. The plane was late arriving and the crew blamed the ground staff. The ground staff were certainly slow coming to the plane at Stansted. I wonder if they are disenchanted with Ryanair too. We will actively avoid Ryanair where possible, and advise others to do so."

But the bad points can be said for all budget airlines. But the good points can't be said for most budget airlines. So we'll done Ryanair on these."

Desventajas: "The plane arrived in Palma late, the gate was changed twice, we were told before boarding that there are no drinks on board and that we should buy drinks before boarding in the nearby shops. The plane took of with more than 70min delay. Announcements from the crew were not understandable, After landing in Stansted, the gate was not ready (due to the ground crew again) and we had to wait 10min before the gate. Luggage took forever."

Desventajas: "When you buy tickets as a collective and check in with plenty of notice; it's an absolute disgrace to charge to sit next to your travelling partner. Ryanair going out of there way again to rinse there customers for every penny."
Desventajas: "Worst experience. Multiple charges. Made it one of the most expensive trips. Terrible!"
Desventajas: "I bought a coffee just minutes before boarding and was told I could not take it on board and had to drink it all immediately, scolding hot and everything. When I walked onto the plane, I found a fellow passenger peacefully sipping her airport-bought brew with no sign of reprimand from the Ryanair staff. I only ask that the rules be applied to everybody or not at all."

Desventajas: "Early Sunday fligh... took 30 mins to queue from motorway to Stansted terminal. If were checking in bag there was a big queue too (I didn't need to). The slowest part was airport security, allow extra 20 minutes at least to get through. Did priority boarding so we didn't queue to board and sat together and had room for our bags (some ended up at feet or in hold)"
