The system charged y credit card for a seat reservation and then crashed with an error, both on my phone and laptop browser. When I called at 9:00 am (when their offices are open) to ask for help with what happened, I received no answer other than, "the check in system has just closed. I am unable to help you in any way". I booked another flight with another carrier, and did not take this flight., not do I plan to book with them in the future That being said, it is not the job of the employee to defend a poorly working system. Services need upgrade asap."

Desventajas: "Easyjet always overbooks and was late leaving causing us to get in at 1:30am on a flight that was supposed to leave at 9:35pm. They overbook and forced us to out our carry ons in the hold, further delaying us when we landed and had to run to catch the last train out of Gatwick. Their one bag only policy is rubbish. Even Ryanair allows a carry on and laptop bag. This forces customers to have to overstuff their carry ons. The only way to get an extra bag is to pay, and over my dead body am I paying for what every other airline provides free of charge. If I have to extoll the virtues of Ryanair on here, you know you're doing something wrong. The ground staff is absolutely rude and had an altercation with my partner over checking our bags, only to find out they don't even represent Easyjet! So they clearly don't care about customer service since the airline isn't even employing them. Please have staff who are trained to deal with customers support you and who actually work for your airline, otherwise, why would they care?! I will try and avoid flying with Easyjet if at all possible. Garbage policies, constant lateness and terrible ground staff."

Ventajas: "We purchased the EasyJet Plus seats (an add on). Lets you board early to stow carry on bag and simply made it an easier trip. Much like mileage plus advantages. Staff were excellent, all of them, gate attendants, flight crew. Will fly EasyJet again."

Even at the desk, a long line formed at the original boarding gate, before we were told that the gates were chaning to one at the other end of the building. Then made to queue at the gate for half an hour, then sat in the plane for an hour. Plus on top of that it was from Stansted which is the worst aiport."

Waited for ages before it left and then had a long tour around the whole of Gatwick airport being thrown around as we had to hang on for dear life to high bars. You we buggered if you were short."

Ventajas: "This was a one-hour flight from Catania, Sicily, to Naples. Boarding the plane, takeoff and landing all typical of flying these days. No food, water or entertainment was offered, typical on short flights, but we and our baggage arrived on time."

I knew it was 47 Euro and when it was our turn to approach the check-in person, I had my credit card ready with our passports and boarding passes. The woman seemed put out that we had another bag and after several minutes of conferring with a colleague and filling out a form, she gave me the form and my credit card and directed me to another area to pay the 47E. This was on the other end of the terminal and involved another queue, more discussion, finally paying and getting another form to take back to the first woman who finally processed our paperwork, printed the baggage tickets and sent them on their way. BTW, we travel fairly light. I had a 24-inch roller and a small daypack on my back. My wife started wity a carry-on roller and a small daypack, but now at the end of our two-week trip, with purchases she'd switched her carry-on to a 24-inch roller instead. If I'd known what an insane system Easy Jet has, at least at Catania, I'd have tried to add the extra bag online the day before."
Desventajas: "We were a family of 4 traveling to Paris from Barcelona and had minimal luggage, yet the attendant singled us out and made us pay 60 Euro per bag to stow our carry-on bags. We had small book bags/purses and I tried to explain that they were our purses. She wouldn't listen. Our luggage was taken, we paid 60 Euro for 3 pieces to be stowed. Once we got on the plane, there were at least 14 people that boarded with a small roller carryon (like ours) and a backpack purse or small backpack. There was also plenty of room in the overhead bins as the flight was not full. In addition, one of our carry-on bags was torn apart by the time we arrived in Paris---the wheels were broken off and it would no longer roll. I am not sure why we were singled out when others had the same or much bigger luggage on the plane. Disappointed."
Desventajas: "I was charged 60 euros (nearly $75) at the gate to check a bag (wish I had done a round-trip with Vueling instead, who does not charge for an extra bag). I will NEVER book with EasyJet again! The baggage cost was the exact price of the flight... EasyJet should inform customers at time of PURCHASE regarding carry-on costs, NOT at the GATE. My bag was sent to baggage reclaim, which was past immigration... I had to go through immigration, collect my bag and re-enter the airport for a connecting flight and go through customs, as if I was a newly arriving at the airport!!!!! I am a very dissatisfied customer."
Desventajas: "The flight arrived late at destination so we lost the last train to London and had to pay 90 pounds for a taxi!"
Ventajas: "Modern aircraft, once we were permitted onto aircraft the boarding was quick as both forward and rear doors were used."
Desventajas: "The crew didn't bother to offer a full retail service on board, aircraft had seat pads missing, crew sat eating for bulk of journey. Delayed inbound meant plane was over an hour late, and not cleaned between service."

Ventajas: "A flight attendant worked with me to find the boarding pass on my phone, so that I would know my seat."
Desventajas: "I could not find my boarding pass on my phone, required because since Easy Jet will not print off and hand a passenger a boarding pass, the one on the phone must be used. One of the flight attendants assisted me to find the boarding pass. I really dislike that an airline refuses to print a boarding pass."

Desventajas: "One of the worst check-ins I have witnessed. My name is Tania and I do travel on a weekly basis due to my job. This is the worst, rudest check in crew I have ever seen. The communication with your customers should always be pleasant and polite, not arrogant and, quite frankly, dismissive. As it happens with many flights, a lot of travelers are not familiar with the "one bag" easyjet policy. I did not have the issue as I am quite familiar and make a point to put my tiny hand bag inside my carry on. I did witness the uncourteous way the boarding crew explained or shall I say, unexplained the policy. As it was a rather full flight, most of us that boarded pat had to check in our bags as we board the flight. The boarding crew did not bother to let us know that it was a full flight and unfortunately we had to check in out bags, but rather ignored us, put the checkin tag on our bags while avoiding eye contact. I had to literally bend over to search for the boarding crew 's eyes to confirm I had to check in my luggages as she refused to even listen to my question. She rudely responded that yes, your bag in going down. Now, as I said, I am a frequent traveler, and I understand the stress of the flight running late, the ocerbookings, the cancellations and the less amiable travelers (I have seen my share or indecent people who have no decor what so ever). However, in this case your boarding crew did nothing to communicate properly to their customers, your customers! Being rude, unfriendly and unnacommodating is simply unacceptable when it comes to customer service. I normally don't write reviews, but the behavior was so outraging that I cannot be a quite passenger... not this time."
Desventajas: "We did not like your baggage restrictions for checked baggage as well as cabin baggage. We were traveling for 14 days and needed to have your limits match our international flight limits."
Ventajas: "I cancelled the trip because in reading the fine print, I found the cost of checking a single small bag almost as much as the cost of the flight itself. Cancellation was accepted but took some effort to do it."

Ventajas: "Flight was fine once we got going but one staff working made for a long long line and a half hour delay. Staff were excellent though."
Desventajas: "Scheduled departure time was 4:00 p.m., but we did not leave until 11:00 p.m. due to a problem with the fuel level indicator. We were kept in the departure gate for 7 hours without a proper explanation in English. When they finally realized they could not repair the plane, they put everyone on another plane. We were given a voucher to use at the snack counter for 10 euros per person, but when we got to the counter there was no food or wine left. Imagine, running out of wine in France! I understand that mechanical issues on planes happen, but it was left far too long to attempt to repair it. A replacement plane should have been supplied after a one hour delay, not 7 hours."
Desventajas: "Waited to board for 1 hour- no seat assignments- price to pay for checked baggage increases by the hour as your departure nears. The price for a checked bag was €42 at 10am and when I checked again at 11:30am, price was €55!"
Ventajas: "Personnel were helpful, polite and spoke English as well as many other languages."
Desventajas: "Volotea is a low cost airline that charges for early seat assignments, printing boarding passes, luggage and drinks on the flight. There is a service charge added to everything. It isn't as low cost as it initial appears. Beware"
Desventajas: "Check in started at 9:05 and boarding was at 9:25, we arrived at the airport (which has 1 gate) at 9:10. There was no one at the check in counter until we asked the security guard for help. At 9:30, the Volotea attendant came back and said we were late and missed boarding and it would cost another 180 euro to get on the plane!! Beware!!! -They have a 20 kg or 44 lb weight limit instead of 50 and will charge you an additional 60 euro per bag of over 44 lbs! -Print your own boarding passes, they charge 20 euro per passenger if they have to print it at check in. -There are fees all over the place, it is a SCAM!"

Desventajas: "The flight was 5 hours late and the company did not give us any information about when the flight would take off and what the problem was. They sent us a voucher for €10 for our next flight. No thanks."
Desventajas: "The Volotea website was very poorly run and thus, we accidentally booked the flight on the wrong date, due to the way the calendar was loaded on the site. We entered the correct date, but somehow we still received flights for 5 days after the date we needed. We tried to change them at the airport, and after being sent to 2 different ticket counters, we ended up paying an additional $420 to get the flights we needed. Therefore, each flight from Athens to Mykonos was over $400 each. It was ridiculous and I will NEVER fly this airline again."

Ventajas: "We printed the boarding passes a week prior and we were ready to go! However Volotea emailed us 24 hours prior to tell us some information had changed and we had new boarding passes. We were worried that we had to pay extra as we were already traveling and could not print the new boarding passes. It was no problem! We downloaded the app and the crew just scanned the app boarding passes. It was a huge relief."
Ventajas: "Errrm...that we actually got to Palermo alive, that was nice."
Desventajas: "Kind of sneaky with the hand luggage, you may well have the guidelines in small print somewhere, but you really should allow people to check their bags in online before the flight, as opposed to paying 80 euro per bag, so 160 euros for two bags that didn't even weigh 10kgs each. RyanAir would have been able to fly us the same trip for that alone, with bags! Then when we were boarding, both of our seats were taken - the flight attendant said "Welcome to Italy". So, that's our story. In a nutshell, overpriced, and didn't get the seats on our boarding passes..."
Desventajas: "Was delayed and had to cancel flight and book a different airline"
Desventajas: "We were stuck in the security check and immigration but got to the gate 15 minutes before the flight. As we were arriving at the gate, we saw the last bus leave taking passengers to the aircraft. The lady at the counter kept yelling at us for the next 15 minutes and kept saying we were late and the last bus had left. We were 9 passengers all together and it would have been a lot easier if she would have called the driver to pick us up. After realizing we had small kids, she finally called someone after 15 minutes but that was too late. We missed our flight. There was no supervisor to talk to and no where to file complaints."
Ventajas: "On time"

Desventajas: "My luggage was lost and still has not been located. The bag tag number was entered incorrectly numerous times with different agents over the phone as well as at the airport."
Ventajas: "The flight was so smooth I forgot I was on a plane. Great landing, too."

Desventajas: "When we checked in my bag was 21 kg and she gave me trouble with that even though we had to pay extra for the bag in the first place. And then since it was a backpack we had to take it to a different location to drop it off for check-in. She also wasn't too friendly either. The flight was an hour and a half delayed. In fact each time I have flown with volotea the airplane hasn't been on time and hasn't even taken off by the time the flight was scheduled to land! The seats were close and the ride was not comfortable. I absolutely will not be using this airline again and certainly would not recommend it to anyone."
Desventajas: "We arrived at the airport two hours before the flight and were told we had to pay 30 euro/person (120 euro total) for boarding passes. Really?!? We had been checked in, but hadn't printed the boarding passes. They told us that they had just closed the opportunity to do this for free at the airport & we now had to pay the exorbitant fee or no boarding passes and no getting on the plane. No other way around it. It just felt like yet another ridiculous excuse to suck more money out of passengers. Just like the banks...a fee here, a free there will add to the profit bottom line without providing any additional value for the customer. Buyer beware!"
Ventajas: "Nothing much."
Desventajas: "Left us standing for a huge time in front of customs and arrived late to boarding gate. Ridiculous.y small measurement boxes for carry on luggage which would not hold standard carry on bags. This dispute the plane having full sized overhead bins that easily accommodated the bags. Forced us to pay $60 a bag under the pretext that the bags would have to be ch caked. But they didn't, we just carried them on and there was plenty of room. They were rude and unreasonable and let lots of people through without the charges after they simply removed items from their bags and carried them a few feet before putting them back. It was just a shake down."

Desventajas: "I had over 100 Euro extra charges on arrival at the airport that i did not expect. It makes it very difficult to compare flights when the actual cost is buried in fine print. If airlines would not charge such excessive fees for luggage, then their would be room in the overhead space; i wouldn't have to rush to get a seat; and security lines would be much shorter..."

Desventajas: "Was charged more than quadruple the ticket price for my luggage (one large and two small carry one between me and my wife). The airport was awful. Communication around boarding was non existent. We waiting in a awkward line blocking the entrance to to the terminal this everyone had to push through our line to get to their fate. Once on the plane, I was in the emergency exit row which I understand comes with some extra rules and responsibility however on Volotea that means no headphones, no baggage under the chair in front of you, they even made me take my baseball cap off and put it in the overhead. Landing was rough too. Overall aweful experience."
Ventajas: "It was a very short flight so not much to report on."
Desventajas: "Checking in on their website was tedious. They charged for a checked bag, but it was difficult to get to the payment. Also they charged for the checked bag for both directions (round trip) but didn't explain that, so I couldn't figure out why they were charging me $62 when they said the price was $31. I didn't figure that out until I checked in for the return flight & I wasn't charged for the checked bag."

We were charged an extra €45 each for hand luggage that is standard everywhere else. Not helped that we flew easyJet to Budapest without issue only to be stung on the return with Wizz. In fact WizzAir have 2 sizes of cabin baggage allowance and small is way too small and it felt like a trap to make money off unsuspecting passengers. They are unapologetic and perfunctory at the boarding gate - clearly they are used to unhappy punters being caught out by this! Food choice onboard not great"

Desventajas: "The only downside you get when traveling with a low cost airline is that you cannot control the quality of your fellow passengers. The ones next to me were smelly both due to ling time, no see with soap&water and also some wine was involved in their breath, I think. But this is the way you get cheap air transport costs, so it is fine."

Desventajas: "Seats don't recline."
Ventajas: "The customer service of the cabin crew and nothing else!"
Desventajas: "They charged me £45 for my hand bag which was smaller than the standard handbags in other airlines, I had bought priority check-in service but still they didn't allow me to check in before anyone else, as I had to go to a separate queue to pay for my smaller than normal sized hand baggage ( in all other budget airlines its more than acceptable and was slightly bigger than Wizz Air allowance), the WizzAir hand baggage size allowance is way way too small and its a trap to make money off unsuspected passengers like myself. They were rude at the boarding gate and non-apologetic. Did not sympathize with me, although they were nice to other white passengers, I felt I was treated differently because of my race, specially after the Paris attack all brown skinned men were viewed as a potential threat I suppose and did not have a good experience in the flight as all passengers were looking at me funny! Point to be noted: On my way to Budapest from London I was carrying the same hand bag and I was not asked to pay extra!! Inconsistent service!"
Ventajas: "The wizz cabin crew was great as usual !"
Desventajas: "The plane was delayed for one hour. The gate was announced only 5 mins before boarding. Not enough to do during this time in the small airport. The meal selection on board was non-existent"

Desventajas: "We got sanatizer when boarding which was so small like a stamp, useless"
Ventajas: "Pésimo que no especifiquen de primera qué hay que pagar el check in. Ningún vuelo te hace pagar el check in! Pésimo que no se informe desde un principio, que haya que entrar a las bases y condiciones. Que por cierto, hablo solo español y lógicamente no podía entender."
Desventajas: "Very very bad."
