Thai Smile must be the only airline in the world that still doesn’t allow mobiles and iPads to be used during taxi, takeoff and landing. No inflight service due to COVID but a little snack and water handed out as we left the plane. I also like the deplaning by row, I wish more airlines did this

All of the cheaper budget airlines charge for everything including checked bags, drinks and food. It's only a few baht/ US dollars more than the other airlines but well worth it for what you get in return compared to the other airlines such as Air Asia!"

We were sitting directly behind upper class but were not offered the chance to use the forward toilet even though there was no one sitting in that section. They seemed to have an attitude problem and not at al like Thai International who are excellent. will never fly again with Thai smile."
Desventajas: "I don't want to recommend to others to use this flight following reasons: (1) I can't use Thai lounge with star alliance gold card. (2) Thai air sold the Ticket, but boarding ticket issued by Thai smile. (3) a ground staff ( reissue staff)is unfriendly particularly those who is at Thai office, airport. (4)Thai smile is a low cost air line. So Thai air shouldn't sell this kind of ticket It hurts fame of Thai airs hospitality."

I have travelled a lot in my life and if there was a shortfall, would say so. Then again, I don't nitpick what professionals need to do to accomplish their jobs."

Bangkok airport is VERY long and the desks are at opposite ends of the airport. The folks at both desks were very helpful though."

So backward! Also, you'll find that their website is not easy to deal with and they will nickel-and-dime you for everything."

Desventajas: "I booked a flight on Air Asia from Chang Mai to Krabi during a vacation in Thailand. Luckily it was only a two hour flight because the seats are absolutely tiny. I am 6'4" and am used to having pretty much zero legroom on flights, but this was another level. I had an aisle seat and had to sit with my legs completely spread open into the aisle for the two hour flight. Don't book this airline if you are over 6ft tall and plan on flying standard economy."

Desventajas: "Did not notice that the flight did not come with a checked bag. We had 7 adults plus a infant. The flight itself was reasonably priced compared to others when we went to check the baggage they said we had to pay separate which was news to me and ultamitly my fault for not catching that as I was booking it. In Thailand my wife who is Thai tried to figure out the situation and the person at the check in desk was very rude. We are used to having a checked bag for an infant but half the size of a adult ticket so our infant bag. So we had 10kg bag for my daughter then the rest of our luggage at the 15kg weight. We ended up having to pay for 900baht per checked bag up to as many adult tickets. But they counted our first bag as a adult ticket so at the end we had one extra 15kg bag at which they charged us excess baggage fee of 400baht per kg... They would not let us switch the order of the bags so the smaller of the bags would fall in that category. So our baggage price was much more expensive then the initial flight itself. It would not have been that bad but the guy that we had to deal with was very rude on top of all that sudden news. If the customer service was better and more polite it would have been much better to deal with."
Desventajas: "Checking was busy and disorganized. Plus I was charged for everything. There was a surprise checked bag charge. My girlfriend is in a wheelchair and can't travel without checking a bag with medical supplies. In the US, the charge is usually waived. On this flight, not only did we get charged, but we got double charged for not booking the checked bag ahead of time. In addition, nothing was for free on the plane. It was a terrible travel experience."
