We attempted to cancel our reservations more than a week before our trip because my husband was hospitalized. Not with the flu or a broken arm, but a major and serious life threatening illness we are still dealing with. We provided numerous documents as proof of the absolute dire situation and they denied the request over and over again. I get that the tickets were "non-refundable" but at least offer vouchers, credit, or be totally a stand-up company and refund the tickets. It wasn't buyers remorse, trust me, we would have preferred to be in Portugal, rather than sitting in a hospital hoping and praying for his recovery.
The plane didn't crash
Plane left an hour after scheduled time. Amenities were mediocre but that's what you expect with Ryanair. Didn't even get water.
The flight got canceled!
In flight snacks were good. Staff pleasant.
Getting through security was a stressful nightmare. I had no idea what to put where. Was just given a tray and expected to know. Signs said inhalers needed to be in plastic bag but website said meds were ok but keep handy. Threatening notices said if you get it wrong your bag will be searched and you can be delayed for up to half an hour (the inference being you could miss your flight). Vowed not to fly again although may get over it!
I want to claim the money back for 4h wating for the flight and luggage in stansted london. They should sell the company. Airplains very dirty. Website not working to add services, overall I will never go with them again
It was a great airline! I flew economy but still was very comfortable.
I didn't have a long enough layover in Chicago and ended up missing my next flight. At least an hour and a half should be allotted going through customs in O'Hare. Then an additional 2 hours to recheck bags and get across the airport. This also allows extra time for delays.
Food was good but not enough.
Entertainment system was not working.
I'm 86 years old. They took me in a wheel chair past security and allowed me to preboard. The staff is very helful.
Service personnel for the most part were friendly on the plane. I was happy that my luggage came with me, i've had several times in the past when it hasn't.
Some of the German women and men at the counter could be LESS serious and more polite in customer service. Delayed flight was a long time to wait.
I didn’t like that I paid for premium eco omg and the airline changed planes and switched all our seats to coach and oversold the flight without eva n an alert or option to keep our original seats. Never again!!!
