Crew was friendly
Flight was delayed several times and the plane was really old, thought they would have something better but the staff did what they could to accommodate passengers.
Was delayed by 45 mins but managed to turn plans round quickly and get back faster than planned

Crew was friendly, courteous and very helpful. On time arrival despite a late departure.
As a new user of the app I expected information to flow more fluidly. Gate changes were not communicated through the app unlike several other airline apps I use. My biggest complaint, if you will, is the requirements to pay for anything one wants on the plane. A soda, water, bag of crisps/chips, all for purchase. For the cost of the airline ticket, even our "no checked bag" ticket, you could at least afford to give passengers a can of soft drink or a water and inexpensive bag of pretzels or crisps. Seat was basically comfortable, not great but comfortable. Departed late but arrived on time
Aer Lingus didn’t have a plane to fly us Dublin you boston so they leased one from a company. Someone from AL walked around gate area handing out a letter with the information. No announcements made that flight was going to be late. Everyone was lined up to board, no que so it was a mess. 49 min of standing there. No announcement plane was going to be late etc. Let us board but stood in jetway for awhile. Old plane. Mediocre service. no entertainment.
After attempting to check in at the baggage machine, we were told we had to go through the check in line. Then after waiting 60 minutes in line at the Aer Lingus counter we were told we were 15 minutes past the boarding closing time. So even though we were still an hour before our flight we couldn't get a boarding pass to get on the plane. We then had to pay $150 x 3 to get on the same flight the next day. We will never fly Aer Lingus again and will never fly through Dublin again.
There was more seat room in this plane.
We deplaned on the tarmac and had to use steps to get to the ground.
US pre-entry then told to wait in line until pre-entry area closed. Moved up to general boarding area. Reason for delay kept changing with no ETD announced until 20 min before takeoff. Food voucher was nice
Air Lingus is my new preferred carrier. They combine updated technology with old time
Courtesy and constant detail attention. They didn’t have enough staff at the gate to get passengers through on time causing us to miss the push off slot and had to wait on the tarmac an hour for another.
