There was a lot of carry on luggage on this flight, like the one from Denver to Heathrow, but it was handled in a much better manner. We were invited to board early if we check in our carry on luggage. During the boarding process the crew gave continious reminders to place items under the seat which fit there, This lead to a very smooth boarding process.
No basic drinks and snacks were offered. Of cousrse, meal type foods cost money, but it should be possible to provide something to drink on or snack.
The crew was great and made the flight comfortable and easy! They brought drinks as needed, free of charge, movies and headphones were provided, and the flight arrived ahead of schedule in London! A wonderful experience! Would absolutely fly again and was so pleased to find the deal on kayak!!!!
Boarding was relatively efficient, the food was decent although breakfast was a modest chicken sandwich, and the staff was friendly.
Breakfast, a chicken salad sandwich in plastic and a cookie, was not my favorite thing to face in the morning after a long transatlantic flight.

Very nice comfortable seats in business and wonderful FA. This was a short connection so i was nervous what to do as ive never been to guangzhou before...but they met me at the departure stairs, another person guided me thru all the steps to security and it was great! No line at security so i was thru fast...very impressive airport and china southern
No vip bus for businessclass, we waited a long time, poor organization. Flight delaye of 30 minutes. Then nine of my luggage arrived in manila!! Very bad! The baggage agent couldnt tell even where the bags were at...very poor organization. Finally got the bags de,ivered the next day but no compensation...im unimoressed with this asoect of china southern..poorly done
When we landed Guangzhou, the polit’s landing was amazing.
The food was horrible this time. Only had two meals, some had three meals. They are suppose to feed you before you land, but only some had three meals. Maybe it’s time to consider free WiFi. It’s such a long flight.

The Chinese people were wonderful! But I was required to pass thru security checks 3 times arriving. 3 times transiting and 3 times leaving. At customs, transit and departure. No common sense to their process only"letter of the law". For example I was taking beef jerky to my friends in Thailand but the Chinese security has a meat sniffing dog and they confiscated it as well as the girl in front of me More than $100 worth of jerky. They should have given it back at departure gate. I had to buy more in their duty free shop. Also they cancelled my flight without advising me but did get me on Thai airways later that day. Too much hassle to Transit China
Xiamen reps at KUL didn’t let me board because they said my middle name on boarding pass didn’t match with the name on Chinese transit visa. I got this Chinese transit visa just to transfer because of the airport layout and that part was also didn’t make sense. They didn’t accept my middle “Y” on the boarding pass and it was so much of hassle to argue and finally let me through. Will never fly again on Xiamen.

Helsinki is a convenient connection to fly to the U.S. One of Finnair planes was damaged earlier in Chicago and they used AirItaly to operate this flight. I was traveling with a recent wrist fracture and I was lucky I had an empty seat next to me that allowed me to move my arm a lot to avoid swelling.
Our boarding was an hour and a half delayed

I bought the Airport tickets for my Russian friend. However customs would not allow her to board the plane unfortunately. That's not Kayaks fault. I would definitely book with Kayak again. Many thanks.

Easy flight; loved the crew and their friendly customer service. Great food, kept everyone hydrated and fed.
The movie options, as well as music and TV options were limited. There were no electrical outlets.
The attention and service!! Excellent. It was my birthday and KLM the head purser surprised me with 2 bottles of bubbles and a handwritten birthday card KlM and the crew of this flight thank you very much !

Flight on time
The usual Air France flights to Rome, that I have been flying for years, are now operated by Joon. For a couple months nothing changed, except the way the crew dressed. But now Joon is showing its true nature as a LOW COST airline.Seats cramped. Snacks and apple juice are now available for purchase only.
Missed flight due to lack of direction, last minute gate change and they shut door in our face after telling us they were holding plane
Long delays to go through security screening and then further delays as the plane was still being fueled at departure time.
The cabin crew was super patient and accommodating of the passengers.

Older plane with poor seat comfort. (Same trip Bos to Zurich much better.) Video did not work at all in one seat and poorly in other ,for 7 hr flight
Placed in back row. Ran out of food choices twice!!! Requested they start serving from the back after the first shortage. Told that was not the procedure. The Swiss need to apply customer care to all in the same class equally.
Flight attendants were cheerful and efficient.
I'm not a terribly large person, but there is zero room in economy. When the person in front of me put her seat back the screen was literally 6 inches from my face.

Two of the flight attrendants in our area were in a bad mood and it showed.
Passengers should be notified of the process of changing airplanes at Vienna. What a nightmare. We were scheduled for 50 minutes between flights. Not really enough. If we were aware of what was required it may have helped, however the distance we had to walk was rather extreme.
Generally very pleasant flight
Flight was late departing Cairo Changing flights from Cairo to Amsterdam was scheduled at 50 minutes. I asked the male flight attendant about changing airplanes, said our new gate was right next to our arriving gate. He said no problem. He failed to mention we had to go through customs and security again, and walk almost a Kilometer in the process. Fortunately they held the Amsterdam plane because many passengers would have missed it. I did not appreciate the lack of information from the flight attendant, however holding the plane was a godsend.
Decent amount of space between seats
Seat size was decent, not like us airlines, there’s actually space for you knees.
The cramped seats, not a lot legroom and people complained once you reclined.

Lufthansa are excellent. Makes the US carriers look awful in comparison. Good seats, great service, on time, zero complaints.

Food and entertainment were great.
The air conditioner was on full blast for a trip to Istanbul, Turkey from NYC. It was very uncomfortable and I could not get any sleep because I was freezing the whole way. Seriously, two sweaters and a blanket did not help. My hands were so cold I the entire time.

The food is not standard airline food and deliciously reflects the Middle East.
Disasterous! The flight departed 3 hours late because of some mechanical problem. So missed connections in Abu Dhabi, although Ethihad could have held a later connection to BKK for just about 20 minutes for us to board. The huge hassle getting lodging from the airline to take an onward flight the next day. Your staff would not accommodate us at the airport hotel so we could avoid the need to obtain a visa, which takes a minimum of 3 hours wait. We finally gave up on the visa and decided to just stay up overnight at the airport. That caused one kind Ethihad staff to finally make issues us an authorization for the hotel at the airport. We would never fly your airline again.
Lack of ability to cancel
Very limited food served at inappropriate times with no flexibility. No information provided on what meals would be served at what times. Very limited entertainment. Very long uncomfortable flight compounded by crew hawking duty free goods like vendors at a fish market, waking many of those who had been fortunate enough to fall asleep.

The seats were minuscule...the depth was narrower than when Id previously used different airlines. The space between rows was also compromised. I think that the Dreamliner is even more streamlined with less space so they can put more passengers on! The toilet kept flushing when seated on it! The food was repetitive - ordered Asian Veg and got almost the same food for 3 meals. The dessert was exactly the same 1 piece of melon and 2 cubes pineapple. The male crew member did not want to be there. He grunted at the passengers. He was annoyed and when clearing food trays dropped it and aI wore custard all over me and the armrest of my seat. Fortunately I had a blanket covering me so it all landed on that. He was more upset that it also splattered him.
Both the USB and headphone Jacks were busted. Just had a bad seat this time.

It is so far a cut above the American carriers. There’s no way to compare them, because Qatar Airways is so far superior. The seats are far more comfortable and larger, the amount of legroom is far superior, you have much more personal space, and the craft is cleaner. Flight Attendants are fantastic! They provide excellent personal care, and are there for everything. They are supremely polite and courteous, and bring things in mediately. Very often anticipating your needs. This is what flying used to be like on United and American. But those people have completely forgotten what service is. Qatar is a 5 star airline. United and American, to my view, are 2 star at best.
Boarded plane, woke up to watch one movie the arrive in Seoul. Plane was clean on time no hassles
The crew was very good.
I requested a wheelchair due to limited walking ability. Myself and several others had to wait a long time after getting off the the plane. There were no chairs and it was difficult. A very nice guy finally brought us wheelchairs and rolled 2 of us at once through security and to baggage claim.

Food selection available was not good in my opinion - pretty much tailored to Indian appetite and stomachs. Very pour options for juices and alternate foods.
The attendant helped find me a vegan option at the last second.
The hearphones sound quality is deplorable, and since the aircraft noise level is high is almost impossible to use it. Ok, that is easy to correct with no cost: remind the travelers to bring they own hearphones (I didn't bring mine) for best sound.

The crew, with a single exception of a male attendant, was unhelpful and even apparently unhappy with being in the flight. The plane did not have soap in the toilets. The entertainment equipment did not work properly.

The crew members were great and very helpful. There was quite a bit of turbulence but the pilots did a great job. I was pleasantly surprised at the amount of legroom in coach, it made for a pleasant trip.
We had to disboard on the tarmac and be bused to the terminal.
