The United boarding staff was no help at San Diego airport. I was at the gate 30 minutes before flight take off time, but by the time I arrived, the door was closed, so I was waiting in front of the gate seating area. the flight time was 10:40, and my clock says 10:41, and the flight was gone. This is my first time in 20 years gate attendant didn't announce anything, and there are other people who missed this flight. Because of this, my rest of the trip was miserable, missed meeting in Santa Fe. I need a money back.
Seats were pretty comfortable
In-flight entertainment depended on the Wi-Fi working. It did not work the whole flight.

There was one stuardess, a blonde woman. I tried getting her name but wasn’t able to. She was extremely rude. She spilled trash on me twice and when I tried helping her pick up some of the stuff she had dropped, she ripped it out of my hand and threw it in her little cart. she was never apologetic and always very rude. She kept slamming things into her cart and left a trail of trash throughout the whole cabin. The rest of the crew was wonderful and the flight was easy and comfortable.

Flight attendant Ms. Sophie Picard made every extra effort to try to find a meal when they had run out of Business Class meals. She made up for the uncomfortable seating in Business Class.
Business class seating on the AirBus 318 is very cramped.
Missed flight due to lack of direction, last minute gate change and they shut door in our face after telling us they were holding plane

As much as the flight was truly very good and the crew very friendly and helpful as much as the equipment (airplane, seats, entertainment) really shabby and certainly not worth the the 2500,00 $ I paid for a better seat. I could of flown with Air transat and get better than I got with Air Canada. I feel it was rip off. Quality - price not there . Please give your crew a better uniform. The ones they wear now is very sad and oldish looking. If I think this and am 67 years old, imagine what the younger generation thinks.
We paid $100 per person to choose our seats in advance and then when we boarded we had been bumped to a different location and my wife and I were sitting across the aisle from each other, unable to share a tablet to watch movies. The cabin crew was not helpful at all so we traded seats with another passenger who had also been bumped from his preferred seat. The entertainment system didn't work for an 11 hour flight.. are you kidding. We pressed the call button to see if it was just our inability to sign in but no crew member came. After 15 minutes the call light went off so we pushed it again, but the light was still on an hour later. We asked about it during the meal service and were very rudely dismissed. Long after meal service was finished we asked one more time to see if anything had changed and the crew member brought us a tablet to use that was loaded with movies. I'm not sure why they didn't do that earlier. Then 50 minutes before landing they literally pulled it out of our hands to store it away.
Good entertainment options
Sat near the back. Air Canada has installed new seating on this route that is absurdly close together, with truly the most inhospitable seat shape and unforgiving cushions. For a 5 hour flight, it was awful. My back hurts.

The plane was huge with lots of empty seats. This is better than my flight out, which was oversold (I was the person who didn't have a seat, until just before departure when someone else didn't show up). The seats appeared to be new.
The flight was delayed by an hour. No information was available about what gate the delayed flight would be departing from, which made it difficult to relax while waiting due to fears of missing the flight whenever it finally took off. The electronic flight list said to check the monitor at 6:38pm to find out what gate would be used (for a 5:30pm flight). I checked the monitor at 6:14 and it said the flight was boarding. This seems like a recipe for making people miss the flight. At the very least it made things stressful. No free food/beverages were provided (some is available at a cost). A family with a very tired baby was forced to wait in a huge long line rather than being pre-boarded. That just seems discourteous to me.
Nothing - don’t expect too much on short flight
This route needs a bigger plane. Always packed. Only a few rows of business class. Took off nearly an hour late. Economy on BA is very much a budget airline experience.

Nothing -- though seat was okay. No leg room, but it reclined a little, and had those foldable headrests.
The boarding was supposed to be by zone, but was just a mad rush. They served no food, not even for money. There was an onscreen ordering option, but for the entire flight it said "this service is temporarily closed". They didn't have a beverage cart. Not even water or coffee. I couldn't even get a cup of water to swallow some ibuprofen and an allergy pill (somebody brought a companion cat, I suspect, quite near to me). No food or water on an international flight across the Atlantic??? You've got to be kidding me -- that's gotta be close to illegal, not providing any means of hydration. But it's certainly cheap, mean, and unacceptable. Pathetic, too.
Easy flight; loved the crew and their friendly customer service. Great food, kept everyone hydrated and fed.
The movie options, as well as music and TV options were limited. There were no electrical outlets.

The seats seemed to have more space on this plane which was nice.
It felt strange that the crew members completely skipped over me when serving lunch and drinks. At least something as basic as water should be given to all passengers.
