Friendly staff from the first moment. Professional check in and service. Everything available for a great vacation. Ongoing maintenance to keep the standard.
Booked was Grand Oasis Plus which includes a room with balcony in the description but we got a room without and the reception told us that just on availability.
Great resort for couples
This resort is captioned “The Pleasure Resort”. So there are always sexy and fun activities going on to participate in. Personal favourite: Foam Party! The entertainment Team - Gustavo, Neybu, Aldo, Julian and Nelson work hard and put on a great activity/party itinerary. The staff is amazing! Specially, Victor from the Sian Ka’an Concierge team. Took really good care of us. I would definitely go back.
A little further away from downtown, so can’t just walk out of the resort for a stroll in the market. Have to take the bus there.
Very nice hotel
Benazuza restaurant was awesome, friendly staff, you are treated very well. Beach was nice, pool is nice. Overall very nice hotel!
The bath water was absurdly yellow, walls and ceilings weren't in good shape around hotel. Food all tastes the same throughout the restaurants. Room service was timely even in a preferred room. Bed was very stiff.
Some of the staff was courteous. Pools were clean..
Poor entertainment, food was not the greatest, alcohol selection was low, and the good alcohol they had was over priced, the bar next to the lobby closed at 9:30pm, being an adult and only hotel I would expect a later close time. And around 10pm. Lights in the lobby were out. I don't think I would consider staying at this place any time soon.
The hotel has declined greatly.
The Sian kaan beach club was fantastic. The lunch and the open restraraunts were good. Great view.
The a/c never worked, even after many phone calls and repair visit. Some of the staff would come to check if you were in the room periodically through the day. They stole from our room multiple times. There were puddles in our room and throughout the hotel. Concrete chunks fell from the walls. Dinners at the reservations only meals were terrible. Not only was getting reservations a nightmare, the food was nasty. We left and ate at outback after one of these meals. Overall, I would never return.
I like the fact that we are close to the ocean, and that you can get there with a quick walk. I also liked the guys that did valet. They were helpful on things to do off the resort.
It is not "all inclusive" There is a 15.00 room service charge for free items. The restaurants are not open all the time. If you want food, make sure you go and eat at designated times. The restaurant also open when they want to open and not when they are supposed to be open. The rooms do not get cleaned till 5 pm. The premium drinks have a charge. So not worth 200 a night.
It is close to the airport
They turned us away! We arrived at 12 midnight and they literally turned us away -- put us in a cab for a 45 minute ride to a city hotel owned by the same group. Incredible They had overbooked apparently. They didn't email/contact/anything beforehand. And when we get there they are super rude, they bounce us to a MUCH WORSE hotel --> don't take the risk if you go to Cancun. "Oasis" is a group of local hotels that is evidently totally skeezy. They "booking bait" here on Kayak pretending to have availability, take the PREPAYMENT, and then send you to a non-beach, non-resort, three star affiliated hotel. Horrible :(
