Terrible hotel and service!!!
Nothing to like!!!! I don’t normally write reviews, but I needed to for this place, to save anyone else from staying there, don’t stay here, you will regret it!
It was absolutely terrible, the room was disgusting, outlets didn’t work, shower/tub had a hole in it, lights didn’t work, hair dryer didn’t work. Really bad!!!
No voy a volver!
Worst dump in the Sierras
I didn't like anything but the location.
The moldy tub, nasty carpet, intermittent hot water, terrible breakfast, empty hot tub, crazy loud air conditioner, missing smoke alarms, musty smells, giant hole in ceiling where the bathroom fan goes and to top it off the broken fridge that ruined our snacks. The worst.! Would rather stay in my car in a blizzard.
I guess we got what we paid for
Soooo dirty and the bed sink into a giant hole in the middle. The staff were non-existent and the "amenities" listed online (sauna, pool, jacuzzi) weren't there. The breakfast was poor quality and the whole place smelled. The garage had a ton of lights that were out so it was dark and rapey. I mean, it was a cheap rare, so we got what we paid for, but we travel A LOT and this was one of the worst places we've ever stayed.
Horrible. Do not stay here.
Only good thing was location.
First room had a massive leak and there was water everywhere. Second room was alright but we had to move to another room due to the room being "reserved for someone else". The final room we ended up in after being moved rooms twice had a non-functioning television which was great for the kids (sarcasm). The coffee pot in the room did not work, and the hair dryer went out after about 15 seconds of use. The worst part though was that the pipes backed up and the sink filled with poop filled toilet water. When we told them what happened they brought a plunger in and splashed the poop water all over the counter then just wiped it off with a rag when I told them not to worry about it because we were trying to get the kids asleep and we were leaving in the morning anyway. I was too grossed out watching the poop water being splashed all over the counter. To top it off they wouldn't switch us rooms because all others were "reserved". We ended up not using the bathroom on the last night and day due to extremely unsanitary conditions.
No está muy bien cuidado. Antiguo. La puerta del baño no cerraba. Ruidoso
Old, old, OLD!!! The toilet ran all night and flushed it's self every 15 minutes or so, made me sad since we are in a drought!!! The outside does not look like the pictures... we were not told that there was a sauna/hot tub or game-room.... so those pictures should not be included if they are not available. My fault to assume there was an elevator.. upon check-in I asked for a ground floor room and he practically laughed at me. Not ADA friendly. Was worried they were going to charge us for things that were already broken in the room after check-out =[ Glad it was only a 1 night stop on our way to Lake Tahoe.
Only positive thing is the location, close to Mammoth Lakes
DON'T STAY HERE, and SAVE YOURSELF FROM FACING INSULT AND RACISM. Very dirty, run down place, no elevator. Had to carry luggage up two floors through narrow stairs. Rooms were pretty small, bathroom door did not lock, towels had stains on them, blankets had multiple tears and holes.. No one in front desk at night.. Breakfast was awful. Most importantly the Manager and his wife were so rude and unprofessional. While we were checking in, the manager made snide remarks about another customer who just stepped out after checking out. Later, the Manager's wife insulted our friend, when we protested she said "This is America and I am American, so I can say what ever I want". We were really shocked to see her level of racism !!
Time to refurb
Very run down inside and out. Tub leaked all night, light switches had to be jiggled to work. Cleaning crew tried their best with what they had. A tidy shambles.
Outside needs paint, inside needs paint, plumbing, and electrical. Room door electrical lock missing replaced with ram shackle key lock and metal plate that made opening door difficult.
Excelente relación calidad-precio, ¡no esperaba un jacuzzi!
I'd rather stay at The Stanley Hotel from the Shin
24 hour cocoa in the lobby The room had a balcony Angel's restaurant next door
It was like walking into the 1970's and it looked and smelled like it hadn't been cleaned since that time. There was mold in the shower. There were stains on the towels. We found toe nail clippings between the bed and nightstand -- it looked like it had never been vacuumed. It was even worse under the beds. The beds were uncomfortable and squeaky. There was no elevator so be prepared to carry all our luggage and gear up 3 flights of stairs. The walls were paper-thin. We could hear everything our neighbors said. Nothing seemed to work in the room including the TV so the maintenance man was sent to fix it. He was extremely rude and constantly swore in front of our small children (and he was apparently drunk according to the front desk). It took a total of 6 hours and 3 TVs until we received a working one. The parking was low and tight, especially when you have a full-sized SUV with a ski rack and snowboards on top. The chairs and luggage rack that came with the room were broken and left out on the balcony. They have open trash cans in the stairwell which contributed to the smell. Plus, both the maintenance man and housekeeping don't wear uniforms so don't forget to ask for their name and ID as a safety precaution. I guess the maintenance man had one thing right when he said the owner is a cheapskate because he refuses to update anything in the hotel. This place should be demolished.
The location is good, the continental breakfast although basic was ok. My room was clean and well supplied with what one would expect..
Disappointing compared to the last time I stayed just a few rooms down the hall. This room was fairly cold when I got there and took about 3 hours to warm up. The dresser looked like it had been in a flood. The tv remote and sound didn't work properly. The room needs up dating, several tile broken in the bathroom and overall the room seems very dated.
No vale la pena
Ni te lo pienses. Sucio, mal servicio, un personal antipático. Tuvimos que salir después de que nos registramos y vimos la habitación.
