Hanting Express Guangzhou East Railway Station

Positives: 1. Room cleaner than expected for the price range, complimentary water bottles though no fridge, mosquito nets in windows. 2. Convenient location near train and metro, good value for the price, convenience store next door. Would stay again for a practical purpose in and out, would recommend for the same.

Tolerable negatives: 1. The hotel is an 8 minute walk from the station through a rather dirty area on a narrow sidewalk next to a road that passes by a garbage dump. Still not too bad. 2. While clean inside, the toilet door was a sliding glass door without insulation at the edges. At least it didn't face the bed. Again this is not unusual in China in this price range, not nice but not too bad.

The location was very close to East Railway Station, but being a few blocks away made it quiet. It was small, but very clean and the staff were friendly.

You need to blizwalk if you we a t to get to hotel from Guangzhou East Station within 8 minutes as it claims. That path goes pass a garbage collection point too.
