Este hotel, el más nuevo del centro de Tulsa, figura en el Registro Nacional de Lugares Históricos. Esta joya única cuenta con elementos de los años 20, como la fachada art decó, con detalles modernos.
Great First VisitVentajas: I found the facilities to be very clean and welcoming. The entrance to the building gave you a feeling of stepping back in time, and the door greeters were quick to give you a grand entrance. Honestly, for the price for my room, I found the room to be of higher stature than many I've had in previous travels. The bed was comfortable, not a rock; the lighting was bright or dark by choice, the climate control worked the way it was supposed to work, and there was ample room for me and my other. I would recommend this location to anyone looking for quick access to downtown Tulsa and a quiet place to relax in between outings.Desventajas: The only thing I didn't like wasn't even necessarily a dislike, but rather a potential downside - parking. The hotel has valet parking, but not a lot of open parking. It's not a huge shock as the building is located in downtown Tulsa. If you opt for this location, I would suggest arriving early enough to catch a parking spot on the street (on the weekend) for free parking. Otherwise plan on paying for the valet service or have a bit of a walk to get back to the hotel.
Needs WorkVentajas: This is not typical for a Marriott hotel!Desventajas: First room had a broken thermostat and wet carpet from a water leak. Couldn't sleep the first night because of the thermostat issue. Second room didn't have hot water. The staff said I needed to run the water for 20 minutes because it's an old building. Unfortunately I had done that and didn't get even warm water. I don't like cold showers!
Fantastic visitVentajas: My stay, generally, was fantastic. The staff really was the highlight of the stay (keep up the great work!)Desventajas: The air conditioning in my room was a little difficult to figure out. I thought I had it set, but it got warm in my room at night.
