Hotel Giannoulis

I traveled with family and an infant, the hotel was very comfortable for us. Location is great, just across the street from the beach, couple of minutes away from Paralia and Olympic Beach, where you can find stores and restaurants. The fish restaurant next door is really excellent, but unfortunately it closed down for the season on the day after we arrived (mid September).

The only thing that bothered me during my vacation was the AC placement. The AC unit in our room was located directly opposite the bed, hence blowing cold air directly at us. It was impossible to sleep with the AC on, so we had to open the door during the night, which led to an invasion of mosquitoes. There were more than 10 at one point in the room. The staff gave us an electrical anti mosquito gadget, but it was still a little bit hot in the room.

We were travelling with our 5mo baby. The hotel had a baby cot in our room upon request. They checked us in several hours earlier "because of little baby". Everyone from the hotel staff was extremely courteous, well mannered and helpful. The room was spotless and was cleaned daily(sheets replaced and all). We loved the beach and pool areas. Breakfast was as plentiful as if it was coming from a cornucopia.

The place is beautiful and very nice, the view is lovely, quiet most of the time, excellent location facing the environment, close parking, close to the sea with private beach

The food was very mediocre, apart from a basic breakfast the rest did not meet the standards we expected, but the staff was very nice and always wanted to help, The room furniture was old, but the room was clean, the cleanliness stood out in the hotel courtyard and pool area Summary - Excellent hotel and wonderful staff, recommendation to eat outside during the day and recommendation to hotel to improve food quality
