Great hotel with nice features. Great breakfast. Helpful and friendly staff. A great value in lodging in this price range. We loved our stay in Sorrento. Would highly recommend this place.
A little far from the trip /bus station . But no big problem there.
We asked to change our 'triple' room reservation to a 'double' if they had availability when calling to let them know of our late arrival. When we arrived for our 4 day stay, they had us moved to a 'double' room. Upon arrival in our room, I lifted up the toilet lid to use it and the toilet bowl was dirty. Ew!! I cleaned the seat to make sure that was clean. I noticed the plastic shower door had a big crack and a piece missing. When I took a shower that evening, the drain was clogged and I had to shower quickly to not have the water from the shower overflow onto the floor. The shower door and shower drain was addressed within the hour of our arrival(9/24) and the manager on duty said he would let management know in the morning. The clogged drain was addressed on 9/25. The broken shower door we were told was a problem that couldn't be fixed. The doors come from Australia and nothing had been done to address the issue, even though they were well aware that it was broken. We asked about availability of another room and were told nothing was available. That night we showered and found the drain to still be clogged, and this time the water overflowed all over the bathroom floor. My husband called down and got extra towels to clean up the bathroom. On 9/26 we asked what our new room rate was since we had changed from a triple to a double room and were told there was no change. My husband asked to speak to management and addressed the pricing as well as all the issues in our room. The manager willingly agreed to decrease our bill, but not by much. We didn't really feel that was appropriate since we had so many issues with our room and we were not a 1 night stay either. Why did they move us to that room, if they knew the room had issues? What kind of customer service is that?
The hotel was in a great location. Their breakfast offered many options and all the food was fresh everyday. The common areas were very clean, even though a bit outdated.
The status of our hotel room. Our toilet was dirty, the shower door was broken,water sprayed out onto the floor each time we took a shower. The shower drain was clogged, water ran out of the shower flooding the bathroom floor each time we showered.
