Ventajas: Everything was perferct! The few days spent in Djerba were great thanks to Greg and Rachel! Sublimate hosts' house! Rachel and Greg are really adorable, do not know what to do to make your stay excellent. Very good breakfast next to the swimming pool with a wonderful sea view. We can also have lunch or have tasty dinner (Greg is a real good cooker who will take you in a culinary journey around the world, the real delight). You can count on him to advise you and find you the best services and plans on the island. To redo without hesitation!..

Ventajas: Dar Jasmin Djerba was the highlight of our stay in Tunisia. A lovely property with a stunning view of palm trees and the Mediterranean Sea from the balcony, complete with rose-colored sunrises. Beatifully decorated, very clean, and tasty breakfast. But the best part was the hospitality we received from Rachel and Greg. So warm, personable, and helpful. Greg also makes an amazing dinner of Dorade, a local fish. Would be worth going back just to stay here again - Highly recommend!

Ventajas: ubicación en un pueblo encantador, tanto como su gente. El hotel es relajante, y enclavado en una magnífica y bella hacienda tradicional de la isla. La atención y simpatía de Chiara, la propietaria, y de su equipo, de 10.
Desventajas: quizas para superar el sobresaliente, sería tener cobertura Wifi en las habitaciones, y mejorar el café del desayuno

Ventajas: It's a beautiful small boutique hotel with we trained staff. The owner was the only one who could speak in English and was very friendly and helpful and so were the staff. Nothing really comes with the room, or at least our room. No complimentaries as a place like Djerba it would be a good t include just a thing or two so it makes the guest welcomed and comfortable. Well, this only my feeling no-one has to agree with though. Property has a very beautiful pool, where you could sit and relax and this was the hotel were it was so peaceful and no one to disturb you. Also, the breakfast was really yummy
Desventajas: Our room was very small, but bathroom was big. Doesn't come with enough plugs to charge or do anything.

Ventajas: Me gusto prácticamente todo, la gente super amable desde el minuto 1, cene un día en el hotel y fue una cena estupenda, la habitación super limpia, el hotel super limpio, el pueblito donde esta muy bonito.
Desventajas: Wifi solo en recepción y tuve un problema con el taxi que les pedi de vuelta al aeropuerto, me cobro de mas y un borde, encima me dijo que me cobraba de mas por el hotel, imagino que ellos no tienen nada que ver, pero si dieran ese servicio ellos, creo que seria mejor.

Ventajas: El lugar magnífico, decorado con mucho gusto, cómodo. La propietaria encantadora. Nos dejó una guía de la isla, nos proporcionó toda la información que necesitamos. Tratamientos de Talasoterapia. Además nuestro avión despegaba por la tarde y nos permitió late check out. La comida del restaurante buenísima. Totalmente recomendable, un lugar maravilloso que con razón figura en las guías de hoteles con encanto.
Desventajas: Quizá un poco alejado de la playa, pero fácilmente subsanable con taxi, que además tienen buen precio

Ventajas: Lovely small boutique hotel in a unique location in Djerba. Traditional house restored in the local way and style. More intermixed with the local population . Beautiful an unique setting in Djerbahood with the artwork through out the neighborhood. Away from the main tourist beach areas. Staff were excellent and very welcoming. Very unique place on Djerba.

Ventajas: 1) The public areas are magnificent.. very conducive to sitting around and being mezmerized by the architecture and the upkeep. 2) Staff. Their driver is a thoughtful young wizard. He's also a musician.
Desventajas: 1) Location. you do need a taxi to go anywhere near the water. 2) Breakfast had nothing hot (omelettes, pancakes, etc) except for warm chocolate croissants which were sublime... as well as hot milk which was a nice touch.

Ventajas: The Hotel was amazing, Clean and luxurious. Everything about this hotel is well thought out. Don't look anywhere else if you are in Djerba. This is a beautiful hotel in an excellent location and amazing staff. This was an absolutely gorgeous suite with a fantastic view of the garden and the see behind it. The attention to details is fascinating and as a person who appreciates details I thoroughly enjoyed every bit of it. The staff was very helpful, knowledgeable and accommodating.

Desventajas: The manager at the reception was very unfriendly, our ac was broke and he did not care much so we had to ask if we can have another room which was possible then. He did not speak much to us at all. Beach near hotel very dirty, no private beach.

Ventajas: We really enjoyed holiday. Hotel bases on Russian, French and Polish clients. The food was various and enough for 4* hotel. We could get anytime big bottle of water or mineral water from bar. Beach towels are for free, only change is extra charged. In Djerba is normal to have sea grass in the water and on the beach as well but hotel cleaned it every day what was nice.
Desventajas: Beach towels are very small. Water in pool was very cold.

Ventajas: The food was excellent - very large variety of food. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The beach was nearby and beautiful. Rooms are clean and kept clean on a daily basis. Taxis always available outside of the hotel and can't be arranged through the assistance of the hotel if necessary.

Desventajas: Problems with the check in: they tried to say that we had not booked the rooms that we had and tried to get us to pay more money: this may have been as a result of a mistake with booking.com rather than the hotel.

Ventajas: Room was very nice with a great beach view, the beach also was very closed to hotel I enoyed also the external areas and to walk in the garden There is a good level of staff presence and animation
Desventajas: Common areas look quite confused, with many styles and lots of up and down stairs Buffet areas was small and crowded. Food variety was poor, compared also with other Chains in the same area and of the same stars rate (and even cheaper). Raw food look also not so fresh. Some staff was a bit agitated.

Hotel fine, but dreadful experience with booking.com - I reserved a room here from the search results presented by booking.com (based on the number AND age of people entered for the search) but the pricing presented it turns out, was incorrect leading the hotel to request an additional significant payment from us on our second day. I raised the issue with a lady in booking.com customer support who denied any responsibility and initially was very rude and argumentative. In the end the hotel kindly wavered the discrepancy even though it was triggered by incorrect booking.com search results. A second call back from a different booking.com support agent confirmed an IT support ticket had been created to address this poor customer experience.

Ventajas: Excelentes servicios y mejor atención por todo el personal; recepción, monitores de ocio, servicio de limpieza.. Por otro lado, una piscina magnífica y playa con acceso directo desde el hotel. Arena Blanca y agua caliente(parece que estás en el caribe). Nuestra habitación pegada al mar, con un balcón con vistas sobre la playa. Todo muy bien, ninguna pega.

Ventajas: Had a very positive experience at Dar el Bhar. The staff are lovely and attentive, making every effort to ensure guests have a nice stay. It's a great alternative if you prefer to avoid the all-inclusive hotel arrangement. Would definitely stay there again.
Desventajas: Overheard what appeared to be abusive treatment of staff by management (openly yelling in full view of guests). Found one manager's behavior to be very unprofessional.

We went to sleep with the salt of the beach Upon leaving the hotel we found our car damaged by a blow in the parking . After much insistence they refused to show us the security cameras and give us any kind of solution.

Desventajas: Please READ this review to save your money. 1.) The hotel didn't organize for us the transfer from airport as promised. So we had to take a taxi, which was not a big issue, but we lost approx.30 min waiting and looking for the driver that suppose to wait for us with a sign. 2.) We have sent an email to the hotel prior to our arrival informing them about us arriving in the morning to make sure our room will be ready. First we have been told that the room will be ready at noon. At noon we have been told that the room will be ready at 1pm. At 1pm we have been told that the room will be ready in 20 minutes. Finally, we got into our room at 1.50pm. 3.) The personell at this hotel is the worst. Everybody is totally unfriendly. The staff in the restaurant doesn't care at all. They don't even bother to open your wine or water. If you go for breakfast at 9am no tables are ready. I asked for a clean spoon, instead of a clean one I was given dirty one. They feel totally anoyed if you ask them for anything. They don't smile and they are not there to serve you at all. They speak bad behind your back in arabic. They never ask you how you are, not even "Good morning". They constantly ask you where are you from and then they call you by your nationality: German? Russian? Czech? Staff in the pool bar, the same. Once I asked for a beer, was given half glass only and after I asked if I could get a full glass I have been told to come again very rude way. Staff in the beach bar, the same. Once I asked if they still have a sandwich or just the crepes ( the only snack that was left ) and I was given very rude reply that they have only crepes and if I am hungry I should have eat the lunch in the restaurant. Photographers will stalk you all the time and will be asking you to take pictures which is super annoying. Animation in this hotel was poor. Everyday the same program: zumba, water polo, petangue, volleyball. Each evening there is a show which is boring.

Ventajas: The facilities were great, sparkle clean and extremely comfortable. Great beach, very nice pool and very nice spa. Staff extremely nice, professional and helpful.
Desventajas: The restaurants are nice yet some more personalization or variety in food might be expected for a 5 stars hotel.

Desventajas: The hotel is going down with everything - facilities, service, food all are becoming worth. It was really comfort as one of hasdrubal hotels before, but now it is cheap 3 Star Tunisian hotel for people who never traveled before, of for old French people (which is a plus and it was like that always). Spa is dirty, only one hamam is working, towels smells and not fresh. Room is still nice and clean. Food is quite pure - ham of different kinds which looks like unbeatable, can fruits, tea with chlorine water which is smell and taste awful. Hotel stops in its development 10-15 years ago and now it can not be call contemporary one. A lot of Russian tourists who can not do to all inclusive in Egypt and turkey come here now and it doesn’t not make hotel better. Very sad, I really liked this place and go the a lot of times, but it was the last one I think. Anyway it is really cheap.

Ventajas: The Hotel was amazing, Clean and luxurious. Everything about this hotel is well thought out. Don't look anywhere else if you are in Djerba. This is a beautiful hotel in an excellent location and amazing staff. This was an absolutely gorgeous suite with a fantastic view of the garden and the see behind it. The attention to details is fascinating and as a person who appreciates details I thoroughly enjoyed every bit of it. The staff was very helpful, knowledgeable and accommodating.
