It was a complete rip off. You book the car for one price. Then when you pick it up they double that cost with insurance. Then they hit you with a £500 deposit that they take. Of course when you drop the car off and leave then they invent some scratch that doesn't really exist and you end up paying some additional fee for their invented scratch. It's a massive con and rip off. I have photos of the car to show the condition of it and the scratch they are claiming was on the check out inventory.Opinión del 29 ago 2023

What a terrible experience. Inflated prices for substandard vehicles. The car that we were given was a gutless wonder! It had a very hard time getting on the motorway! First leg of the journey and the key fob battery died!! I will never use this company again! Stay clear of Sixt. You get way less than you pay for!Opinión del 29 ago 2023

I had reserved a larger SUV but when I arrived, the vehicle was not available. In order to get the same size vehicle (actually not as big), I had to pay an additional fee to upgrade to a higher class vehicle. If the vehicle I had booked was not available then I should have been given the upgrade at no charge.Opinión del 9 jun 2023

The rental of the car was very easy, the young lady was very pleasant and explained our options as the car we requested was not available and we were forced to take a more expensive vehicle which was the only setback. The return of the car was quick and easyOpinión del 12 may 2023

My flight was delayed for one day. The given telephone number for SIXT was non responsive. Found another number on google and reported the delay. When I arrived the next day, my car was gone and the only option offered was for me to rent a larger, more expensive car at 70% extra on top of what I initially was going to pay. On my previous two trips to Holland I had similar delays with cars rented through different companies, and they set me up with other (upgraded) cars at no extra expense..Opinión del 16 abr 2023

The staff at Schiphol were awful! They were misinformed about what cards they can accept and when this was pointed out to them, they became rude and aggressive. When we asked for the name of the person serving us, he said he was not obliged.Opinión del 6 nov 2022
