I was in the middle of a natural disaster and didn’t receive a refund. Hertz was awful and Kayak.com is awful. Really disappointing given the circumstances with the fires in Maui.Opinión del 16 ago 2023

We reserved a dodge caravan, and we’re expecting something a little newer. We understand that it is difficult to get new vehicles for rentals, but this van seemed quite worn. Maybe it’s because of being so close to the ocean. It was adequate for our needs. The staff were extremely responsive and helpful…top notch. Drop off was quick and easy.Opinión del 11 ago 2023

Not being familiar with Maui, I didn't realize there was more than one Hertz location in Kahului so it would have been helpful for that to be more apparent when booking. The agent at the airport Hertz was VERY RUDE when I showed up there. The agent at the hotel where the car was located, was WONDERFUL and I would book again based on his customer service.Opinión del 29 sept 2022

The car’s dashboard system said an oil change was needed when I started the car, but the staff said that Hertz has a different idea of how frequently the oil needs to be changed than Nissan does, so we drove for 10 days in a car that needed an oil change. It felt a little unsettling, but nothing bad seemed to happen. As an after thought, I would have taken a pic of the dashboard in case something had happened and Hertz tried to pin it on our usage.Opinión del 20 sept 2022

Didn’t realize pick up was at Maui beach hotel not the airport. Hertz agent said to take taxi. Taxi cost $30 base rate. She should have recommended also Lyft or Uber.Opinión del 17 sept 2022
