Our car was in pretty sketchy condition. The front bumper scraped on everything. The first time we went to unlock it in a parking lot, the key got stuck and we had to wait for them to send out a locksmith. We were told “this happens all the time” and were instructed to just avoid locking it for the rest of our trip. ?! A cost of $350 turned in to over $1000 with all the fees and insurance added. The cost on Kayak is not representative at all of what you will pay. And all these charges hit you when you go to get your car, so you have no option but to pay the fees if you need a carOpinión del 24 feb 2023

The address then give you to pick up the car doesn’t exist. Google maps shows you the agency but there is nothing there. It takes forever to get ahold of customer service and they just tell you to go to another company. I booked a car through Firefly for pickup at San Jose Del Cabo airport. When we arrived there was no car available and I needed to book with another rental company at a higher cost. The agent wasn't sympathetic at all.Opinión del 1 ene 2023

The type of car I requested wasn't available, felt like I was being ripped off. I was in a foreign country and needed a car for what I'm doing and I had already been shuttled to the hertz rental place so I felt like I had no choice but to get the bigger more expensive car, triple was I thought I would pay.Opinión del 27 dic 2022

Flight was delayed. I called firefly to reschedule pickup next day. Office confirmed no problems. Absolute lies - I arrived to the office and they informed they had no cars according to policy, mine had been given to another customer. I had a reservetion for a car or about $330. When I was clicking on insurance link a page with error was opening. At arrival, first of all there was no sign. It turned a place is Hertz. My reservation was valid but insurance would cost over $900 USD!Opinión del 12 dic 2022

The office that I booked a car through was in a resort that was completely closed for renovations. There were no notifications, no indications that I wouldn’t be able to get the car, nothing. So I walked for fifteen minutes to pick the car up only to find out I had find another rental place.
