I had to cancel my rental car last minute because they didn't take my particular credit card. Unfortunately, the insurance company that they use did take my credit card and charged me $33.00 that I still haven't gotten back. Budget told me that I would be credited the full $30 back on Friday. Bait and switch on the pick-up location. I asked for in-town, then the morning of, a half-hour before pickup, switched the pick-up location to the airport. They asked me to sign a from saying the car was in perfect condition when I received it, which would have been fine if I was allowed to actually look at the car before signing it. The car was fine. Staff was doing their best. The wait to pick up the car (1.5 hrs) was atrocious. I heard from another person in line who had experienced the same wait for Budget in SLO so I don’t plan to rent with Budget againOpinión del 21 feb 2023

The lot was so small that people who were returning their cars were parking in the available cars. I had walked out to the lot to see that my car was blocked by two other cars, and had to walk back to the desk to request the other cars be moved.
