Ventajas: The car was clean, and it was a fair car for the price.
Desventajas: The paperwork was all completed at a station inside the airport, that went fairly smooth. After the paperwork is completed, they had you a slip, and you proceed outside about 300 meters to take delivery of the vehicle. This is where the frustration began. When we got to where we pick up the car, there was no Budget representative present. The pickup is at a van that says Avis/Budget. An employee from Avis said the Budget guy would be back in 5 minutes. After 15 minutes I noticed the car and key that were listed on our contract were sitting directly in front of us, there was just no employee there to hand us the key. Not a single customer had been by in that time, neither to Budget or Avis. Customers began to show up. The Avis guy helped 3 customers; all of which showed up at least 15 minutes after us. There were now 2 additional customers waiting for Budget. The Avis representative then said he would help us. After helping another customer coming in for a drop off, he did then help us. It took him about 5 minutes to inspect the car and have me sign the form. The Budget representative had never showed up.
The car was great, the price was fair, however, I do expect that there is an employee that can deliver the car. And, if the Avis representative can assist Budget customers, he should have done that in the 15 minutes that we sat next to each other while he was doing nothing.
