The crew were nice.
Food & extremely old plane with no electrical outlets no Wi-Fi and the entertainment system was rubbish . The food was terrible. One passenger mentioned that the bathroom was in terrible shape. I actually tidied up the bathroom before I left cause my bathroom was also in terrible shape or getting there. This plane needs to be retired it is so old! United Airlines should be embarrassed! I can't believe this plane is still in circulation at least the inside of it! How about updating it to modern times?
Everything was fine — but every bit of this flight was managed by United — the aircraft, the crew, the check-in desk — never encountered anything related to Austrian Air the whole time.
I liked the service and the polite staff. Timelyness also we liked.I will use united again.
Served a lot of food. Most personnel friendly and helpful. Enjoyed entertainment selections. Plus this flight was $300 cheaper than the others. Convenient times and choice of airports.

The flight was long and inexpect s to be fed. They didn’t provide free food and beverages.
Missed my connecting flight from Toronto to Houston. No reason given for late arrival. Yes, they gave me another flight...six hours later! Will be asking for compensation. At least for spending money on airport food. After arriving in Houston, i had already planned on renting a vehicle to my final destination. Because of first delay, i had to drive in the middle of the night and finally arrive at finat destination at 4 am on Oct 5. Im going to bed now.

It appears that Air Canada is doing the correct thing for passengers who have reserved their seats in advance....after many years of not applying their written policy of making them board after business class/disabled passengers/passengers with young children, they have created Zone 2 boarding which permits passengers with reserved seating to board immediately after them, therefore guaranteeing them overhead bin space. As we all know, a lot of passengers board with much more than one carry-on, which is a plague when boarding.
Everything except delay
3 hour delay thst redulted in missed connections in Seoul.
Smooth, on-time flight and okay service.
For relatively new aircraft, the comfort of AC’s 787-8 economy seats is not up to par. A frame cross member presses the back of the buttocks, there is minimal lower back support, and no protection from the hands and knees of passengers behind.
Nice staff friendly clean plane. Big plane for overseas. Enjoyed the variety of movies to watch for free.
Bathroom started off clean. 1/2 way into the flight not so clean. At the end no paper and dirty. Lack of maintenance in this area is a concern.
Not a thing
The fact I didn't even make it to my destination. Not one person working for Air Canada gave me the impression they knew what was going on. They certainly didn't apologize for ruining my vacation and they did not try to do a single thing to help us make our flight or make the disappointment of missing it any better.

The man sitting next to me required two seats. The arm rested had to be lifted to my seat to accommodate him. I complained but the flight was full and my seat could not be changed. I was told that British Air policy was not to require extraordinary over weight people to buy two seats. No, instead the person next to that overweight person has to suffer. A very stupid and unfair policy. As a result I will never book Finnair or British Air again if I can avoid it.
Boarding was ok in Dublin, even though they habitually use one of the poor gates with inadequate seating and entry to the plane from the tarmac, not via a bridge. queing and check in were well managed however.
Disembarked at Helsinki unto a bus. Despite landing roughly on time, this antiquated procedure effectively made the flight 20 mins late, as that’s when the passengers got to the terminal.
I have no complaints
We had reserved a gluten free meal for my wife. When I went to check in it was gone from our reservation. The crew attempted to put something together so she would have food to eat but the response from their customer support team on the phone was not great. I recommend verifying all meals twice before 48 hours out. On a 7+ hour flight this is not fun.
The flight attendants were good - they run a tight ship, both from a safety perspective and looking out for the passengers. That said, they should have allowed me to move to any open seat, except first class, to accommodate any passenger with broken equipment at the seat they selected.
This old plane had broken seats with broken entertainment equipment. After changing seats twice, my ultimate seat still had a loud buzz in the sound system. The flight attendants should be allowed to seat an inconvenienced passenger in any open seat in the event of broken equipment. Space in the seats was ridiculously tight for a 7 hr international flight.
Great quality and delicious even for economy. Excellent service and personable attendants.
The boarding process is poorly controlled and kind of unpleasant
I booked the flight through Kayak - that in turn went through Airfare,com. I thought the flight was with Lufthansa - but it turned out to be with United for the return trip...trouble was no one told United until I checked in at the desk. I could not even check in on line. I spent a lot of time before hand - trying to get it sorted, In the end they said just show up and it will all be ok! Not a good experience.
There was a group of ~20 French teenagers that did a lot of noise, like it was their own private field trip.
