Comfortable stay in a clean and very quiet environment.
Ventajas: The staff were very friendly, resourceful...knowledgeable about the community.
The room and hotel were impeccable with the exception of the hot tub.
Desventajas: I didn't realize the hotel was as far away from Pike Place Market. My bad. Had no idea that one had to be a registered member to use uber. Neing from out of country wss hestitant to dowload. Public rapid transit...the e line was an experience. Simply put the hotel needs s shuttle.
The hot tub wss the colour of urine. Extremely uninviting. Not certain why the water isn't changed regularly.
comfortable stay
Ventajas: Friendly staff, clean room, well kept up hotel, nice variety breakfast, and oh yes fresh chocolate chip cookies up on our arrival!
Desventajas: Could hear TV next door on one of three nights we stayed, not that bad except when it's going past midnight.
Great place to stay! Not stellar customer service.
Ventajas: I liked the hotel- everything was great.
Sheets were clean.
Breakfast was good.
Room was quiet and peaceful - especially for being on Aurora Ave.
Desventajas: I had a surgery scheduled for the next morning and it was unexpectedly cancelled that morning.
I went to reception to tell them my medical procedure was cancelled before I could finish my sentence they asked:
'Was is booked through a third party?"
"Yes booking.com"
"We can't help, you have to talk to them"
"Oh, okay"
"Yeah, sorry."
And that was it. There was no "You'll need to contact them, but here is the contact information" or "would you like us to call them for you?" or "I'm so sorry that happened! Unfortunately you'll need to contact booking.com. Is there anything else we can help you with?"
I don't need someone to solve my problems or act like I am the only customer that has ever had this problem - I'm not diluted - but it would've been nice for someone there to express a little bit of customer service or heaven forbid a little sympathy.
I tried to find where I could call booking.com and discuss this circumstance with them, there was no number to call under their cancellation policy.
ADVICE FOR PEOPLE BOOKING THROUGH A 3RD PARTY:
Make sure it has a free cancellation policy before you book. I stupidly didn't do this and am now out 150 bucks.
