Room was a human box
I will never trust a travel site to choose my hotel room ever again!
Nice People, Poor Maintainence
The staff was very nice and there is a $10 round trip shuttle to downtown. The breakfast had bagels and muffins and there was plenty of hot coffee at breakfast and the rooom also had its own coffee maker.
The toilet ran about every 3 minutes and it was really loud. So to keep out the noise I shut the bathroom door and locked myself out. I took apart a ballpoint pen I found in the room and got the door opened. The door handle was loose, so it looks like this has happened many times before. Once the door was open, I saw there was no door stop or towel bar to stop the door knob from hitting the wall and locking. The bed was small and hard and there was a hole in the whole where a chair had hit it. I saw a few different bugs. Two small black ones on the bed, a white one that flew and landed on my arm, and a big moth. The AC didn't was loud and didn't seem to cool the room. I couldn't sleep until about 1 am because there were some men standing in the parking lot talking and I had to be up at 2am to get tot the airport. The cable television was also out during this time and at times I was thankful the noisy AC could drown out the noisy people in the parking lot.
About 15 minutes from broadway, if you want to stay near broadway this is not the place but if you want to stay near the grand ole Opry it is the place that is the closest.
There was mold in the corner of the shower, hair on the hand soap when we walked in the room, only shampoo not conditioner(which didn't matter just seemed like they forgot to put the other) the pillows were old so they were lumpy and couldn't really use them. The hallway said no smoking yet after the first night and we walked out the smell of smoke hit you in the face. The elevator seemed very outdated and made a lot of creepy noises. The TV kept going in and out of signal and kept breaking up on certain channels, but would be fine on others & it varied every night which channel it was. This is a good I have to have somewhere to stay and there's no where else but I would not recommend staying here. I was disspointed I thought all Days Inn were nice but this one is not.
Not too clean
Front desk staff was friendly.
This place was incredibly dirty, definitely could not walk around the room without shoes. Also chose a smoke free room which is located also on the smoking floor so you have to walk through the cigarette stench to get to your room. If you need an extra blanket or towels you yourself needs to hunt down housekeeping and when you find them they're not too pleasant and expect your blankets to have holes.
Remodel Is Not Enough
Location was good; price was good considering options in the area
Room in poor condition; room keys didn't work immediately after check-in, had to go back for new ones
Friendly staff, good prices, just needs renovation
Everything was perfect except for the overall quality of the building. Needs repair and renovation.
The poor aesthetic of the hotel brought down the positive experience. I would also suggest and prefer bigger towels.
Ok for Money
When I travel for work all I need is a clean bed and a warm shower. This was 1 for 2. The room was clean and the bed was comfy enough.
There was no hot water, I mentioned it the next morning o the front desk and it was never rectified despite others complaining about it. The key cards took forever to work, which is frustrating when returning to your room late in the evening after working all day. Room wasn't ready when I got there (it was after 3pm, which was check in) which was more of an annoyance than a huge complaint. The big issue was the cold showers. If those were fine, I probably wouldn't have bothered writing a review. I'm not expecting much when I travel, especially at this price. This wasn't vacation, this was for work, so I wasn't there much. No hot shower is a big issue for me though, so I feel I must point it out.
Excellent Staff, helpful and friendly
The staff was excellent. They were very helpful and friendly. They were very Knowledgeable of the area and made some great suggestions for restaurants. Check in was very easy and the staff was very accommodating to some request I asked about. The front desk staff was wonderful. I hope the owner of the hotel is smart enough to pay them well so they will stay with the company. They are, by far, the hotel's best feature.
The room was not as clean and well maintained as I would have liked. The curtain rod in the show was barely hanging on the wall and it looked like a pubic hair laying on one of the shelves in the shower. The other issues were very minor and a matter of personal preference.
Desayuno, estado de la habitación, sucio, olía
Good for the price
It was a clean place to sleep
Pets in the hotel. There were very few outlets, the refrigerator didn't even have an outlet.
