Outdated with Poor Housekeeping
The lobby is beautiful, but the buck stops there.
The only areas I truly visited were the elevators, hallways and my room. The elevators are dated and could use a refresh while I recognize this is likely a costly endeavor, you are a Hilton brand and should be able to make minimum updates. My room was also dated with wood furniture that was a bit damaged (normal wear and tear) and old carpet. There are no mini fridges which I find to be very basic now days. I also went to prepare hot water for tea, but there was a used coffee bag in the filter - I was not happy. The shower pressure was very low and there was rust staining around the drain I imagine from the water that tends to sit at the bottom of the tub when you're showering. The rust looks like dirt, but I'm sure it was just staining. The vent in the shower area was not clean and likely hadn't been touched in a while. The heater was quite loud and disruptive during my sleep and I couldn't regulate the temperature at all (not really their fault). The housekeeping overall was not the best as my first night there I noticed a fingernail on the floor and it was still there when I came in from meetings the next day leading me to believe they had not vacuumed - again. The final thing is the hotel staff (the few I came in contact with) were not friendly. I twice walked by a gentleman who appeared to be a greeter who never uttered a word. I thought maybe the first time he didn't see me, but the second time I looked him square in the face so there was no missing me and he made a choice not to speak. I won't stay here again, in fact I had stayed here previously and was unimpressed but decided to give it another go. Well let's just say there won't be a third go.

No tengo suficiente espacio aquí para explicar lo horrible que es este lugar, lo primero, tan pronto entras, huele a humedad, se ven las alfombras viejas y sucias, las sábanas manchadas, los muebles viejos, el desagüe de la ducha no tragaba bien, así que tuve que tomar una ducha con la bañera llena de agua hasta los tobillos. Si duda NO vuelvo

Older decoration. Our room (320) had a surface mounted outlet directly behind the mattress so the mattress would unseat the plugs when you moved on the bed. probably a fire hazard as well. Elevators were slow.

Went through 2 non-smoking rooms which smelled of smoke before we found a truly non-smoking room. Hotel was overwhelmed with a large number of people over the weekend resulting in the breakfast buffet being empty with no refills
My mother lives at Asbury Methodist Village, a large retirement community a few blocks from this Hilton. When we are in town visiting my mother, we usually stay at this Hilton because it is so well located - right off the 270 freeway and very close to Asbury. This is a very friendly hotel, clean and comfortable, and the price tends to be the same or lower than the other nearby options (Holiday Inn and Wyndham).
