Phuket is an idyllic island in the Andaman Sea with long sandy beaches and warm water that is excellent for snorkeling, windsurfing, and scuba diving. Then for the stout-hearted tourist, there is the famous Jungle Bungy Jump in Kathu near Patong where the enterprising visitor can jump out one-hundred-fifty feet over the water.
