Greece's third largest city, Piraeus is Greece's port. It is a curiously unique city first settled during the Themistocles period, when it gained importance when Athens became a naval power. Vouliagment is 30 minutes from the city and is an exclusive beach that draws lots of celebrities and wealthy Athenians.
